Troy Ball

Title: Founder and President
Company: Protec Restoration
Location: Eagle, Idaho, United States

Troy Ball, founder and president at Protec Restoration, has been recognized by Marquis Who’s Who Top Executives for dedication, achievements, and leadership in executive management.

Mr. Ball has built a successful career in executive management and currently serves as the founder and president of Protec Restoration, a role he has held since 2018. In this capacity, he leads business development initiatives, oversees bookkeeping, and manages key operations such as human resources, scheduling, technician oversight, and job flow processes. He also dedicates his time to several organizations, including The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Boys & Girls Clubs of America, and the Kiwanis Club of Nampa, and also served as a missionary in São Paulo, Brazil. In recognition of his achievements, he was named Boise’s Best by Builder Magazine. Laying a strong educational foundation for his career, he earned a Bachelor of Science from Boise State University.

Reflecting on his path, Mr. Ball spent a few years exploring the insurance field, however, he quickly realized that he preferred a more dynamic, hands-on work environment rather than a traditional office setting. This discovery led him to pursue a career where he could be more actively involved in day-to-day operations. He takes great pride in the success of Protec Restoration, particularly in maintaining zero staff turnover and generating multimillion-dollar revenue annually. He has fostered a work environment where employees genuinely feel appreciated and valued. He attributes his success to living by the principle of treating others as he would want to be treated. A testament to his commitment to this principle occurred when Protec Restoration was packing up a customer’s home to refinish hardwood floors after a water loss. During the process, a table was scratched. Although unsure whether the damage occurred under their care, he took full responsibility. After discovering the table was from Scandinavian Designs, he arranged for a new replacement, surprising the customer with his dedication to making things right.

In the coming years, Mr. Ball’s long-term goal for Protec Restoration is to double the company’s size. While ambitious, particularly given the challenges of scaling a business, he is confident that increasing face-to-face interactions with both current and potential network partners will be instrumental in achieving this growth. In addition to business growth, he is committed to enhancing the quality of life for his employees. His vision includes providing better compensation and benefits, allowing his team to move beyond basic sustenance to more rewarding living standards. For him, success means not just expanding the company, but ensuring his employees enjoy financial stability, professional satisfaction, and personal well-being.

Mr. Ball takes great pride in the sense of community within his team and is determined to continue nurturing a supportive and valued workforce. When advising aspiring professionals, he highlights the importance of cultivating strong relationships with insurance professionals, as a significant portion of their projects comes from homeowner claims. His team invests time in building these relationships through personal interactions, such as casual meetings or family dinners with insurance agents. This approach fosters genuine trust and makes it more likely that insurance professionals will refer Protec Restoration to their clients, ultimately driving the company’s continued success.
