Earlier in his career, he was an attorney at Goodwin Procter LLP from 2011 to 2013, a legislative associate at Stateside Associates from 2007 to 2008, and advance director for Reed Hillman and Maura Healey’s gubernatorial campaign in 2006. He also served as chief of staff at the Massachusetts State House from 2005 to 2006 and is the founder of the scholarship committee for the Oxford Hills Education Exchange.
Mr. Kingman also dedicates his time as vice chair of the board of trustees at Falmouth Academy and supports the Essex County Community Foundation and the Peabody Essex Museum. Laying a solid educational foundation, he earned a Bachelor of Arts in government from Skidmore College and a Juris Doctor, cum laude, from Suffolk University Law School. In light of his impressive undertakings, he was honored on the Dean’s List from 2008 to 2011, was a quarterfinalist in both the Tom C. Clark Appellate Advocacy Competition in 2011 and the Edward R. McLaughlin Appellate Competition in 2009, and received the American Jurisprudence Award for Property, the Distinguished Best Legal Brief Award, and the Best Oral Advocate Award.
Reflecting on his path, Mr. Kingman has made significant contributions to the legal field, particularly in the area of consumer privacy protection. One of his proudest achievements is receiving the “Up and Coming Lawyer” award from Massachusetts Lawyers Weekly. Another meaningful accomplishment is his work developing laws that provide privacy protections to consumers, a cause he remains deeply committed to advancing. His natural inclination for persuasion and competition guided him toward a career in law.
