Prior to this, he gained experience as an assistant branch manager at Pacific Western Bank. Mr. Heng’s career in finance started with his position as a teller at Credit Union. Before pursuing this path, he contributed to the pharmaceutical industry for more than five years.
Mr. Heng’s performance in the field was born of his education. He earned a Bachelor of Science from Pepperdine University in 2004. Mr. Heng initially viewed banking as a bridge job rather than a full-time career choice, but he discovered many worthwhile opportunities in the field and chose to stay on that path. Having been guided on this route by numerous mentors, he now prioritizes helping others whenever possible. Mr. Heng credits his success to open-mindedness, honesty, trustworthiness and integrity. He believes his professional accomplishments have been bolstered by his commitment to meeting client expectations and communicating clearly.
Beyond his career, Mr. Heng is a dedicated husband and father to three children. He enjoys working out, spending time with his family and attending his children’s sports events. Looking to the future, Mr. Heng plans to continue fostering professional growth and development of his team members while increasing the overall success of First Foundation Bank. He also hopes to become more involved with his local community.
