Title: Integration Director
Company: Global Energy Services LLC
Location: Aiken, South Carolina, United States
Keith D. Harp, integration director at Global Energy Services LLC, has been recognized by Marquis Who’s Who Top Executives for dedication, achievements, and leadership in integration.
With four decades of experience, Mr. Harp has built a successful career in integration and currently serves as integration director at Global Energy Services LLC, a role he has held since 2024. In this capacity, he is responsible for overseeing the transfer of a section of the waste treatment plant and managing integration activities between the waste treatment plant and the tank operations contractor. His duties include ensuring that operations are conducted according to procedures and that all personnel are performing their tasks correctly. He manages two separate contracting companies working under the Department of Energy—one involved in a multi-billion-dollar project and the other overseeing a billion-dollar operation. His primary responsibility is to integrate these two entities, ensuring a smooth transition that transforms the project into an operational facility without interrupting ongoing operations. He successfully managed a $2.3 billion project at Savannah River, where he concluded his role in March 2023. He has since relocated to Washington State to take on a similar but larger project valued between $12 to $14 billion, where he aims to achieve the same level of successful integration.
Mr. Harp’s experience also includes serving as integration manager at Savannah River Nuclear Solutions from 2023 to 2024, program manager at Savannah River Mission Completion LLC from 2022 to 2023, and program manager of SWPF integration at Savannah River Remediation LLC from 2006 to 2023. He worked at the Savannah River Site from 1985 to 2023, contributing to numerous high-level projects. His expertise has been recognized through speaking engagements, including at the Waste Management Conference in Phoenix, Arizona, and briefings for the South Carolina Department of Health and Environmental Control as well as the Defense Nuclear Safety Board.
Mr. Harp is also a dedicated supporter of organizations such as United Way of Aiken County, Citizens for Nuclear Technology Awareness, and Together for Hope. Reflecting on his career, he is particularly proud of his success in integrating the Salt Waste Processing Facility after nearly 12 years of dedicated work. Notably, in 1994, he led a team to safely remove and replace a highly radioactive piece of equipment at one of the Savannah River Site’s tank farm facilities, ensuring no environmental releases or personnel injuries.
Mr. Harp attributes his success to his strong interpersonal skills, which enable him to communicate effectively with individuals across all levels. He believes his ability to engage in meaningful conversations with people from diverse backgrounds, combined with his deep understanding of the processes, has significantly contributed to his accomplishments. In the coming years, he plans to continue his consultancy role, overseeing the transition activities in Washington until completion. Additionally, he aims to assist the companies he works with in securing contracts for upcoming projects with the Department of Energy and the National Nuclear Security Administration. His immediate career goal is to successfully complete the project at the Hanford facility in Richland, Washington. For his long-term outlook, he envisions transitioning into a role where he can share his vast experience with others. After completing his current project, he hopes to engage in speaking engagements, offering insights and lessons he has learned throughout his career. He hopes the next phase of his career will allow him to continue making an impact by contributing to the professional development of others.
