Michael B. Fleck

Title: Vice President
Company: Ecube
Location: Gilbert, Arizona, United States

Michael B. Fleck, vice president of Ecube, has been recognized by Marquis Who’s Who Top Executives for dedication, achievements, and leadership in sales operations.

With three decades of experience, Mr. Fleck has built a successful career in aviation and aerospace, specializing in sales operations. He currently serves as vice president of sales for the Americas at Ecube, a role he has held since 2024. In this position, he oversees all opportunities in the Americas for Ecube, a UK-based company that established its facility in Coolidge, Arizona, in 2022. He is responsible for attracting new key accounts to the Coolidge facility for aircraft disassembly and ensuring the smooth operation of the storage facility. He also manages customer relationships within these key accounts across the U.S., Canada, Mexico, and Latin America.

Mr. Fleck’s previous experience includes serving as director of business development at Aviation Technical Services from 2021 to 2024, and as president of Fleck Aerospace Solutions from 2020 to 2021. He also held various leadership roles at Aviation Technical Services, including director of engineering solutions in 2020 and director of business development for component services from 2016 to 2020. At Boeing, he served as senior manager of customer accounts from 2011 to 2015, senior manager of new and derivative airplanes from 2010 to 2011, and manager of 787 service-ready operations from 2005 to 2010. In light of his impressive undertakings, he has received multiple company awards from Boeing and Aviation Technical Services.

Mr. Fleck laid a solid educational foundation for his success, earning a Bachelor of Arts in business administration and management from the City University of Seattle in 2008. He began his professional journey at Boeing, where he gained valuable experience in Change Management within production. Change Management involved overseeing all aspects of aircraft assembly, from initial scheduling and customer introductions to managing production changes, whether initiated by Boeing or the customer and even last-minute alterations in the pipeline. This experience allowed him to gain insights into various organizational functions, including engineering, manufacturing, supplier management, and aftermarket services and served as the cornerstone for his progression into leadership roles. Notably, he played a key role in the support of the 787 as part of an aircraft derivative team, and as a senior manager at Boeing, he led the commercial aftermarket spares and customer support organization. The department was responsible for overseeing sales totaling approximately $6 billion to customers all around the world.

Mr. Fleck’s most significant accomplishment is managing the translation and transition of customers between the U.S. and the United Kingdom. Despite the fact that both countries speak the English language, there are still distinct differences between American and British cultures, and it is his responsibility to bridge these gaps on behalf of the home office. Reflecting on the changes in the aviation industry over the past years, it has faced unprecedented challenges, including issues with Boeing and quality concerns that have had serious consequences. The pandemic further exacerbated these difficulties, leading to a significant downturn and creating uncertainty about the industry’s recovery. The traditional cycles of the aviation sector have been completely reshaped. However, based on his experience, he believes that Ecube is well-positioned to meet the evolving needs of the industry by maintaining a methodical approach focused on quality and timing. He attributes his success to honesty, transparency, hard work, integrity, and reliability. In the coming years, he is dedicated to continuing to grow personally and professionally.
