Major Thomas L. Lusk, independent consultant and master data architect, has been recognized by Marquis Who’s Who Top Executives for dedication, achievements, and leadership in electrical and computer engineering.

With two and a half decades of experience, Mr. Lusk has built a successful career in electrical and computer engineering. He has excelled as an independent master data architect consultant for 12 years, following prior roles at Capgemini for five years, Oracle for eight years, and Computer Sciences Corporation for four years. Alongside his consulting work, he has been a licensed real estate broker since 1992, a scuba diver for 43 years, and a pilot for 48 years, with additional experience at Barnes & Noble in Long Island, New York, and as a U.S. Air Force member from 1979 to 1995. His career also includes roles as a mission pilot and observer with the Civil Air Patrol from 2000 to 2010, and as a charter diver and journey guide for Colorado’s Ocean Journey, now Downtown Aquarium, from 1999 to 2005. He laid a solid educational foundation, earning a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from Rice University, earned in 1979, a Master of Business Administration from the University of West Florida in 1984, and a certificate in non-academic advanced studies from the University of Denver.

Reflecting on his path, Mr. Lusk’s career began in the military, where he served as an engineer and retired as an Air Force manager with expertise in electrical and computer engineering, which he considers his most significant work. During his service, he specialized in space systems for nine years, electronic warfare for nearly five years, and air troop training and smart weapons for four years. Since 1999, he has worked in data integration and has been involved in master data management since 2004. After retiring from the Air Force, he spent four years with Computer Sciences Corporation before joining Oracle, where he contributed to projects at the defense finance department at Military Bay. He credits his success to his parents, both professionals, who instilled in him a strong work ethic and commitment to excellence. In the coming years, he anticipates more time for travel and hopes to pass on his knowledge and skills to the next generation of professionals.
