Title: Assistant Vice President
Company: Red Stone Equity Partners LLC
Location: Nashua, New Hampshire, United States
Nicholas J. Kirby, assistant vice president at Red Stone Equity Partners LLC, has been recognized by Marquis Who’s Who Top Executives for dedication, achievements, and leadership in finance.
With a decade of experience to his credit, Mr. Kirby has established a successful career in financial services and consulting, specializing in asset management, real estate financial analysis, economic development, financial markets, international trades, and emerging markets. He currently excels as assistant vice president at Red Stone Equity Partners LLC, a position he has held since 2023, and as an analyst since 2018. His responsibilities include managing capital contributions for real estate developers at various project stages, collaborating with banks and investment partners for financial stability, and developing strategies for financially unfeasible properties.
Mr. Kirby’s experience also includes serving as senior development and finance associate at Real Estate Diagnostics Inc. from 2013 to 2018, procurement assistant at United Natural Foods from 2012 to 2013, correspondence specialist at Wells Fargo from 2007 to 2009, operations specialist at Evergreen Investments from 2006 to 2007, and production assistant intern at McLaughlin Group in 2005. In addition, he has dedicated his time as an event organization assistant at the Cambridge River Festival since 2008, and volunteers for Red Stone and youth organizations in Boston.
Laying a solid educational foundation, he earned a Bachelor of Arts in economics, cum laude, from Western New England University in 2006 and a Master of Science in international business and emerging markets from the University of Edinburgh, Scotland, in 2010. Reflecting on his path, he began his career at Evergreen Investment, the mutual fund division of Wachovia, during the 2008 financial crisis. Following a merger with Wells Fargo due to the market downturn, he decided to advance his education, earning a master’s degree in international business and emerging markets from the University of Edinburgh, Scotland. After completing his degree, he faced difficulties securing full-time employment, leading him to part-time work in New Hampshire. He then launched his own consultancy and worked for his uncle’s real estate development firm, managing grant writing, application writing, and financial analysis. When his uncle suffered a stroke, Mr. Kirby assumed a significant leadership role, overseeing employees and eventually taking on operations before the business was ultimately closed. He then transitioned to Red Stone to continue his career in financial services.
Mr. Kirby takes great pride in helping to managing his uncle’s business after his uncle suffered a stroke. This difficult time required him to step up as a leader, ensuring employees were paid, properties were maintained, and a construction project with an investor was completed, even without formal authority. This experience was a defining challenge, demanding him to juggle multiple responsibilities. Additionally, he attributes his success to his parents, whose generosity and values shaped his appreciation for hard work, and his recognition that success must be earned, not given. He also credits his mind for details and analytics, as well as his positive attitude, which he believes sets him apart from others in the field. Looking to the future, he remains open to various opportunities, and while he is uncertain about the direction of his career, his entrepreneurial mindset has led him to consider new paths, such as starting a restaurant chain inspired by family members who own their own establishments.
