Ross T. Riddell, president of Ross T Riddell and Associates, has been recognized by Marquis Who’s Who Top Executives for dedication, achievements, and leadership in emergency services.
Building on more than 35 years of experience, Mr. Riddell has served as the president of Ross T Riddell and Associates since 1999. Through this organization, he provides consulting, training, project management and vehicle procuring for various governments and fire service groups to help improve their ability to respond to emergencies. Concurrently with this, Mr. Riddell took on the position of president for Gamified Learning Information Management System (GLIMS) Learning through Afed Limited in 2022. With GLIMS, he leads the growth of a company that aids corporate clients in creating digital and trackable training and induction materials. Prior to his current roles, Mr. Riddell established himself while serving as an emergency services consultant for the American Samoa Government and a fire consultant for Fire Control Fiji Ltd. His professional life started in 1986 when he accepted the role of deputy public safety manager for the Auckland International Airport in his home country of New Zealand.
Known for his contributions as a civic-minded citizen, Mr. Riddell has supported many causes he believes in beyond his primary vocation. He offered his guidance as a member of the technical support committee for the United Nations’ International Civil Aviation Organization and on the technical advisory group for the Federal Aviation Administration Airport Improvement Program at the Hawaii Joint Regional Aircraft Rescue Fire Fighting Training Center. Mr. Riddell is certified in training and assessment by Inspired Education Australia Pty Ltd. He earned an advanced diploma in firefighting management from Technical and Further Education (TAFE) Greater Brisbane and TAFE Queensland in 1999.
Outside of his career, Mr. Riddell is a dedicated husband, father to two and grandfather to two. He finds balance in playing golf and spending time with his extended family. In planning for the future, Mr. Riddell hopes to continue providing value to his community by aiding in keeping them safe and healthy.
