He also holds a project management professional and Lean Six Sigma black belt certification. Mr. Black’s numerous accolades include the coveted Phoenix Award from the Mayor of Atlanta in 2012, which was recognized as the highest civilian honor in Atlanta, in recognition of his military service and many years as a motivational speaker. He has also been decorated with a Bronze Star Medal, Meritorious Service Medal and several Army Achievement Medals.
