An esteemed leadership coach and official member of the Forbes Coaches Council with more than 40 years of experience to her credit, Dr. Burlaud has excelled as the founder and chief re-invention officer of P. Burlaud Consulting, LLC since 2019. In this position, she has been instrumental in guiding her clients to meet their expectations through personalized coaching and consulting services. Before establishing P. Burlaud Consulting, she established PBGAA, LLC in 2018, where she laid the groundwork for her consulting endeavors. She previously found success in a number of roles with the American Council on Education between 2010 and 2017, including as the national executive council women’s network committee adviser and state board chair for ACEWN-New York. Dr. Burlaud began her career in academia, having served as the associate dean of Zayed University from 2000 to 2008 and the dean of operations, assessments, and accreditation for global academic programs for the New York Institute of Technology from 2008 to 2017.

To support her professional ambitions, Dr. Burlaud notably earned a Master of Science in nuclear and particle physics and a Doctor of Philosophy in corpuscular physics from Université Paris-Sorbonne. She subsequently completed life and career coaching training at Robbins Madanes Training-Coaching Academy in 2019, which further shaped her unique approach to leadership and coaching. Outside of her primary responsibilities, she has contributed to organizations such as 100 Women Strong for Central Florida and the Central Florida Foundation. In recognition of her stellar achievements, Dr. Burlaud was presented with the Woman of Achievement Award from the Women’s Executive Council of Orlando in 2024.

Dr. Burlaud has attributed her success to the support, perseverance, and affection that she has received from her husband as well as her resiliency to persevere through life’s many challenges. Initially pursuing a career as a high-energy physicist, she was drawn to the historical relevance of her early work, having completed research in the same facility as Prince Ranguille, Pierre Curie, and Marie Curie. She was additionally driven by her studies of heigh-energy accelerators at CERN alongside Nobel Prize-winners before eventually participating in the cooperation program for higher education in West Africa in order to make a positive impact on others while devoting more time to her family. Looking toward the future, Dr. Burlaud aims to utilize her passion to inspire both young women and men in her field.
