Mr. Jesteadt, a senior director of workforce analytics at PowerSchool, has been instrumental in supporting the educational software company in providing student information systems for grades K-12. As part of his ongoing commitments, Mr. Jesteadt is tasked with an array of responsibilities, including supporting the data strategy and human resource (HR)-driven insights for the executive leadership team and investors, overseeing all data communications throughout the employee life cycle, examining the why behind employee departures and more. Since joining the organization in 2023, he has been critical in addressing PowerSchool’s lack of standardization and helping establish pay equity and a competitive framework, among other accomplishments.
As a seasoned information technology professional, Mr. Jesteadt was employed by TIBCO Software Inc. (now part of Cloud Software Group) from 2017 to 2023, where he garnered success and expertise in various positions. Hired as a senior data scientist, he progressed to senior director of business intelligence and analytics. During his tenure at TIBCO, Mr. Jesteadt’s involvement in the merger with Cloud Software Group was pivotal in successfully coordinating various cultures, teams, benefits and salaries and managing the risk of employee disengagement. Additionally, he excelled as an HR data scientist at Abt Associates between 2013 and 2017 and as a senior financial analyst for a health firm from 2012 to 2013, where he became fluent in financial reporting and data analysis.
A graduate of Gettysburg College, Mr. Jesteadt received a Bachelor of Science in mathematical economics with a minor in political science and theater in 2013. Besides his education, he is a professional member of the Society for Human Resource Management and Hacking HR. As a dedicated member of his community, Mr. Jesteadt frequently volunteers with nonprofits such as Volunteers of America, local food banks and homeless organizations in and around Denver. In preparation for his future, he aims to continue excelling professionally and personally, with a primary goal of earning a human resource officer position and making an impact in a field he thoroughly enjoys.
