Mr. Harris works with clients spanning multiple industries, such as manufacturing, hospitality and finance. In addition to his primary responsibilities, he is a mentor within the organization as part of the African American Employee Resource Group, leading a wellness pod focused on physical, spiritual, and mental wellness.
Having joined Accenture in 1997 as a consultant, Mr. Harris has held several other positions, including application architect and software process specialist. Before joining the global professional services company, he garnered experience as a contractor for the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention from 1997 to 1998. As such, he was a database manager for the organization’s Office of Childhood Immunization and the Office of Smoking and Health. His expertise in automation and process development has been instrumental to his success. Besides his work in this sector, Mr. Harris continues to draw success as the chief operating officer at Peach Bay Group LLC.
Highly educated, Mr. Harris received a Bachelor of Science and Bachelor of Arts from Alabama State University in 1990 and a Master of Business Administration in marketing from Louisiana State University in 1996. He also holds credentials from the Accenture leadership development program, obtained through the Sloan School of Management at Massachusetts Institute of Technology. Mr. Harris honorably served his country in the Alabama National Guard from 1986 to 1996. He remains active in his community as a member of Jack and Jill of America Inc. and the Alabama State University National Alumni Association and through volunteer positions with the Johnetta Cole Foundation, the United Way of Greater Atlanta, and Saint Jude Children’s Research Hospital, among other nonprofits.
