Hired by her organization in 2021, her role has evolved into what it is today, thanks to her success and expertise in manufacturing, product development, marketing and other aspects of her field. Ms. Stuart’s earlier accomplishments at Whole Foods Market as an associate category merchant, product development technician and global category merchant of meals have also shaped her career.
Educated at Texas State University, Ms. Stuart received a Bachelor of Arts and Sciences in nutrition science and food in 2013. While in college, she completed an internship at Cooper Fitness Center. She also holds credentials as an EVOO sommelier through ESAO, the Olive Oil School of Spain. Initially desiring to become a dietitian, Ms. Stuart realized she preferred not to work in a hospital or clinical setting. The opportunity to work for Whole Foods Market presented itself, and she was fortunate to learn how to formulate and executive food products effectively.
Ms. Stuart’s success has been possible due to her ability to understand the complete life cycle of a product from concept to realization. Being able to grasp all phases of product creation has been instrumental to her success. Ms. Stuart notes the significance of developing a strong network, seeking guidance and mentorship, and remaining humble, as these can be valuable throughout the learning process.
