In her role, Ms. Ulysse is tasked with the foundation’s overall operations. She also ensures that patients are monitored and patient complaints are handled correctly. Among other objectives, she manages a daycare for internally displaced students and ensures nannies understand their roles. Established in 2018, Ms. Ulysse founded the nonprofit foundation to rally for her father’s hospital in Haiti, which has existed for over 30 years. Since taking over the hospital, Ms. Ulysse has raised its standards considerably and transformed it into a respected facility that serves the entire community.
Ms. Ulysse graduated with a Bachelor of Education from Georgia Southwestern State University and a Master of Education in middle grades mathematics and science from Valdosta State University. She also holds professional certifications in global health quality from Harvard University and artificial intelligence from Microsoft. Eager to continue her work in Haiti and leave a legacy for her father, Ms. Ulysse plans to open at least three additional hospitals and three more departments over the next decade. She draws immense satisfaction in her work and looks forward to future success with the support of UNICEF and the World Health Organization.
