Ronald W. Mixer, director at District 16, Toastmasters International, has been recognized by Marquis Who’s Who Top Executives for dedication, achievements, and leadership in religious and spiritual services.

With nearly five decades of experience, Mr. Mixer has established a successful career in religious and spiritual services and social services, specializing in speech presentations and public speaking. He currently excels as the director of district 16 of Toastmasters International, a position he has held since 2024. His experience also includes program quality director, district 16, Toastmasters International from 2023 to 2024, interim pastor at Minnesota District Council Assemblies of God in 2014, senior pastor at Triumphant Life Church from 2004 to 2013, and assistant director of volunteer ministries at American Bible from 1999 to 2004. Additionally, he served as chief executive officer of Logos Media Network in 2002, account director at Grizzard from 2001 to 2002, director of church relations at Cross Pointe Network in 2000, associate director of the Bible reading programs at American Bible Society from 1999 to 2000.

Mr. Mixer was also a program manager for 1999 Year of the Bible at the American Bible Society from 1997 to 1999, and field representative at the same institution from 1988 to 1997. Additionally, he was senior pastor at Odessa First Assembly of God from 1984 to 1987, senior pastor of Richmond Assembly of God from in 1983 to 1984, senior pastor of Manchester Assembly of God from 1980 to 1983, director of Christian education at the Center Assembly of God from 1979 to 1980, and director of church ministry at Rock River Christian Center from 1977 to 1979. Additionally, he has worked as a freelance blogger since 2022, computer repair technician at Ron Mixer Computer Repair from 1994 to 2022, and director of technology at Goodwill Media Services Corp. He laid an educational foundation, completing coursework in business administration at the University of Phoenix, and earning a Bachelor of Arts in Bible and pastoral studies from Northcentral University in 1977, a Master of Ministry in pastoral studies from International Seminary, Florida in 1983, and was ordained and licensed for pastoral duties in 1977. He also dedicated his time on the Olathe Human Relations Commission from 1990 to 1998, including as chair from 1996 to 1997. He is a volunteer for Christmas in October, has been a member and mentor with Toastmasters International since 1996, and is also a member of the International Platform Association, Assemblies of God Ministers, and his local Chamber of Commerce.

Additionally, Mr. Mixer authored “Disturbed Thinking: One-Hundred-Forty-Two Musings on the Bible,” “Fruitful Living: A Study of the Fruit of the Spirit from Galatians 5,” “Nine Principles for a Fruitful Career,” and “Gather That Harvest.” In light of his impressive undertakings, he received the Director’s Award from Toastmasters International in 2023 and recognized with a Distinguished District Award in the same year, as well as named one of the Outstanding Young Men in America by the U.S. Jaycees in 1986.

Mr. Mixer attributes his success to perseverance. Looking to the future, he is focused on completing his next book and aims to reposition “Fruitful Living” to better serve his business clientele. Additionally, he is exploring the possibility of conducting business seminars for corporate audiences, drawing on the insights from two of his books. His short-term goal is to lead the organization toward achieving Distinguished District status by the end of 2024. He is also working on two new projects: a sequel to “Disturbed Thinking” and a new title, “Perseverance,” which draws from his experience of undergoing 35 surgeries throughout his life.
