Pauline Rogers, Executive Director at the Reaching & Educating for Community Hope Foundation, has been recognized by Marquis Who’s Who Top Executives for dedication, achievements, and leadership in the Nonprofit Sector.

Ms. Rogers is an esteemed nonprofit executive serving as the executive director and founder of Reaching & Educating for Community Hope (RECH) Foundation in Jackson, Mississippi, since 1982. The organization, which helps individuals and families impacted by crime and incarceration, provides temporary housing to women exiting prison who do not have an address or family members to return home to. Offering more than just housing, RECH is a place where individuals can find guidance and mentorship and feel empowered to reach their goals. The program also operates as a place that facilitates self-sufficiency and self-realization.

Apart from her work at RECH, Ms. Rogers has found success as a prison and re-entry ministry ambassador since 2019. Previously, she was a field director for Prison Fellowship from 2015 to 2019 and a program director at New Hope The Vision Center between 2005 and 2008. Heavily engaged in her community, Ms. Rogers has provided her time and expertise to the New Hope Baptist Church as an advisory board member, The National Baptist Convention USA as a minister, and the Clergy for Prison Reform as a member. Among other affiliations, she is active in the Women for Progress of Mississippi Inc.

Passionate about her work, Ms. Rogers founded RECH after her own experience with incarceration, imprisoned for shoplifting. Her run-in with the law stemmed from a traumatic childhood that found her repeatedly making mistakes. During her time in prison, Ms. Rogers discovered flaws in the judicial system, realizing how childhood trauma can lead to criminal behavior and how inmates are often unable to leave prison even after their parole due to unidentifiable addresses. The day after exiting the prison system, Ms. Rogers began volunteering to help make a difference. Reflecting on her work over the past 40 years, she has been instrumental in helping over 2,800 women, none of which ever returned to prison.
