Ms. Greenberg, a leader in technology and health care, recently retired in 2023 after over 45 years dedicated to her profession. Having concluded her career with Gainwell Technologies LLC, a health care information technology (IT) company, she served as a senior business systems analyst. Ms. Greenberg’s expertise in health care technology, clinical laboratory science, IT project management, business analysis, and physical and logical design have benefitted her career success.
Beginning her career in 1978, Ms. Greenberg worked for NYU Langone Medical Center as a clinical laboratory manager. Subsequently, she held the same title at Mercy Hospital Inc. in Miami before returning to NY Langone in 1985. Throughout her extensive career, Ms. Greenberg landed roles as a project manager and consultant with The GEO Group Inc. and Whole Foods Market IP Inc., as a project consultant with Kaiser Permanente, as a senior project manager with Modis, and as a senior business analyst with BayOne Solutions, among other organizations.
Besides her primary career endeavors, Ms. Greenberg owned Kathleen & Company from 2007 to 2016. Based in the Washington, D.C., metro area and Boca Raton, Florida, she served as a subject matter expert, project manager, implementation manager, and senior analyst in various industry areas, including electronic health records, Medicaid, Medicare, clinical laboratory management and more. Between 2017 and 2022, Ms. Greenberg also garnered success as the owner of Senex Associates in Jacksonville and Ponte Vedra Beach, Florida.
Ms. Greenberg holds a bachelor’s degree in biology and chemistry from Central Connecticut State University in New Britain and a Master of Science in clinical laboratory science and medical technology from Long Island University in New York. She also completed a fifth-year bachelor program as a Danbury Hospital School of Medical Technology graduate in Danbury, Connecticut, receiving a degree in clinical laboratory science and medical technology. Besides her degrees, Ms. Greenberg is recognized as a diplomate in laboratory management through the American Society of Clinical Pathologists, a certified equine handler through PATH International and completed a course in SWOT analysis through LinkedIn.
Ms. Greenberg remains at the forefront of her industry as a clinical data management committee member for the Drug Information Association since 2021. As a dedicated community member, she has been affiliated with Saint Jude Children’s Research Hospital. Previously, Ms. Greenberg was a handler for the nonprofit Horses and the Handicapped from 2001 to 2010.
Among numerous accomplishments in her field, Ms. Greenberg authored a four-page maintenance manual for agents of the F-14. She also penned a safety manual for the paper production line at Georgia-Pacific. Ms. Greenberg also notes her success in securing a new candidate to replace her at one of her former employers. Being able to mentor and nurture talent in the workplace was one of her most notable and fulfilling achievements.
In preparation for her future, Ms. Greenberg intends to return to the laboratory after relocating to Spain to further enhance her contributions. She credits her husband of over 40 years for much of her success and his unwavering support in all her endeavors.
