Mr. Walsh is recognized for his expertise in sales, a field that has enabled him to continuously grow in his profession. Having joined CoreSite in Secaucus, New Jersey, in 2015 as an account executive, he was promoted to sales director from 2016 to 2018. Today, he leads the team as a senior director of sales. As a colocation, network and cloud connectivity specialist, Mr. Walsh is tasked with building a book of business while maintaining existing relationships, managing expansion and renewals, and canvassing for new clients.

Before joining CoreSite, Mr. Walsh was an associate for the Global Data Center Advisory Group at Cushman & Wakefield, a global commercial real estate company in East Rutherford, New Jersey, from 2011 to 2015. Focusing on data center/disaster recovery, he specialized in helping clients with the renewal, acquisition and/or disposition of office space, industrial space, flex space and retail space. During his tenure at Cushman & Wakefield, Mr. Walsh was heavily involved in the customer consultant side of the business. His team was notably hired to be the leasing agents for CoreSite’s new facility in New Jersey. After overseeing this assignment for a year, he was recruited to join CoreSite as a full-time employee.
Mr. Walsh’s earlier career included working as a senior mortgage banker at Precision Funding Group LLC in Cherry Hill, New Jersey, between 2006 and 2011 and as a mortgage specialist at Ameriquest Mortgage Company in Egg Harbor, New Jersey, from 2005 to 2006. These foundational roles were instrumental in his later success.
A graduate of Stockton University, Mr. Walsh received a Bachelor of Science in marketing on the South New Jersey campus in 2004. During his academic years, he became active with the Alpha Chi Rho National Fraternity Inc. His education was pivotal in shaping his career choices. Besides his formal education, Mr. Walsh received numerous licenses through the Nationwide Mortgage Licensing System and Registry and the Pennsylvania, Connecticut, Delaware, New Jersey and Maryland Departments of Banking. He also received a New Jersey Property & Casualty insurance license.
Apart from his work-related ventures, Mr. Walsh invested time into charitable causes. He has donated to the Lustgarten Foundation and has fundraised for the American Cancer Society Inc. He also volunteered for Habitat for Humanity International.
Mr. Walsh has become a prolific author through CoreSite, covering topics on cloud scalability, data center colocation services, hybrid information technology, and much more. He has also contributed to the company’s YouTube channel.
In light of his success at CoreSite, Mr. Walsh received the Hunter of the Quarter Award and President’s Club status. He credits the hardships he has faced for his continuous drive and unwavering determination for excellence.
