Adonica D. Randall, president of Abaxent LLC, has been recognized by Marquis Who’s Who Top Executives for dedication, achievements, and leadership in information technology.
Ms. Randall, president and founder of AbaCor LLC in Appleton, Wisconsin, has been instrumental in her role since 2021. Leveraging her expertise in information technology (IT), she focuses on sales and innovation to progress the company forward. Focusing on excellence, she provides a range of services, from turnover assessments, talent retention, and traditional sourcing channels to workforce empathy, inclusion and belonging solutions, payroll services, workforce and supplier management, and more. Besides her contributions at AbaCor LC, Ms. Randall has served as the president and chief problem solver at Abaxent LLC, an African American, women-owned and certified business, since 2002, providing organizations with expertise in identifying and leveraging technology for their specific needs.
Before her present roles, Ms. Randall was an entrepreneur in residence at Marquette University in the Opus college of engineering in Milwaukee from 2016 to 2018 and the president of Connection Strategies Enterprises Inc., dating back to 2005. Additionally, she garnered success as an associate professor at Alverno College in Milwaukee from 1993 to 2016. In preparation for her career, Ms. Randall became highly educated, earning a Bachelor of Science in computer science and electrical engineering from the Missouri University of Science and Technology in 1975 and a Master of Science in electrical engineering with a focus on biomedical engineering from Marquette University in 1979.
Ms. Randall is actively engaged in professional organizations in support of her field as a member of Women in Tech. Civically, she is affiliated with the United Performing Arts Fund Westside, an organization that supports local artists and groups. She also donates to Discovery World. Previously, Ms. Randall served as an IT united volunteer for the United Way of Greater Milwaukee and Waukesha County and served on the Waukesha cabinet of the United Performing Arts Fund. In light of her success, she received a Professional Achievement Award from Marquette University in 2015. In the next few years, she intends to find someone equally as passionate as she is about her work to take over her business.
