Dr. Ndassa, a leader in data and analytics, has been affiliated with Sylvan Road Capital LLC, a technology and data-driven asset management firm based in Atlanta that focuses on single-family rentals. Since 2023, she has excelled as the vice president of data strategy and analytics. As such, Dr. Ndassa is responsible for ensuring that every aspect of the data across the business, from investment management to asset maintenance and real estate transactions, is understandable. She is also tasked with data quality and integrity and, among other goals, monitors and manages asset performance.
Before joining Sylvan Road Capital LLC, Dr. Ndassa garnered success with several other organizations, including Meta as the global head of global recruiting insights and as the global head of people strategy and insights. She also worked for Amazon Web Services Inc. and Comcast in high-level positions. Additionally, she taught as an adjunct professor at Drexel University for several years. Throughout her career, Dr. Ndassa has become known for her ability to create analytic functions from the ground up, garnering success building functions from scratch and fixing existing ones that weren’t working correctly.
In preparation for her career, Dr. Ndassa obtained a Bachelor of Science in biochemistry and molecular biology, magna cum laude, from the University of Maryland Baltimore County as a Meyerhoff scholar, and a PhD in molecular biophysics from the prestigious Harvard University. She also completed a fellowship at Howard Hughes Medical Institute, obtained a professional certificate in applied generative artificial intelligence (AI) through MIT Professional Education, and completed a course in using AI to boost productivity through LinkedIn. Dr. Ndassa speaks Spanish, French, the African language Fe’fe’, and English. Beyond her educational accomplishments, she has been active as a chapter advisor for the National Association for Multi-Ethnicity in Communications and on the diversity, equity, equality and inclusion committee leadership team at Comcast. She has also contributed to numerous scholarly journals in her area of expertise and has received several Comcast Mentorship Program Awards for her efforts.
