Mr. Warrington, a leading executive in the health and wellness center, has led a diverse, rewarding career for more than three decades, culminating in his role as the chief executive officer of Energy Lounger LLC. Launching his product in 2023, the Energy Lounger is a full-body light therapy chair with an ergonomic design that offers red light and infrared light therapy. The advanced technology provides various clinically proven results designed to support skin rejuvenation, muscle recovery, body contouring, mental clarity, athletic performance and more.
Founded to provide affordable red light therapy solutions to the general public, Mr. Warrington’s product was initially launched at the CosmoProf trade show in Las Vegas in July 2023. The design aimed to create a sustainable business model with a price point significantly lower than existing options in the market. Now, with locations in wellness centers throughout the U.S., as well as in Europe, the United Arab Emirates, Thailand, Indonesia and Australia, Mr. Warrington’s business has garnered tremendous success.
As the company’s chief executive officer, Mr. Warrington is tasked with managing overall operations, managing orders, coordinating bookings for individuals to experience sessions, preparing for upcoming trade shows and speaking with clients. Besides his responsibilities here, Mr. Warrington has been the wellness director of the Waring Wellbeing Company since 2023 and the director of Integrative Wellness Consultants since 2021.
Beginning his career in 1999, Mr. Warrington was an exercise physiologist at Chiva Som. Subsequently, he worked for Six Senses Spas as a spa manager, Leptos Calypso Hotels as a group spa and health manager, and Six Senses Resorts & Spas as an area spa manager. Over the next decade, he worked for various wellness centers in leading roles before earning the title of director of wellness operations at Serensia Woods from 2019 to 2021. Mr. Warrington’s 30 years of experience and knowledge across different therapies that influence human health and well-being have been pivotal to his success.
Mr. Warrington studied at Manawatu Polytechnic in New Zealand, where he earned an education in exercise physiology. Adding to his ongoing expertise, he is active in several prominent organizations, including the Asia Pacific Spa and Wellness Coalition in Asia, the International Spa Association in America and the Thai Spa Association.
Pursuing a similar career path to his mother, Mr. Warrington grew up influenced by her role as a midwife who preferred natural remedies like arnica over pharmaceuticals, instilling a holistic approach to health care. Meanwhile, his father was a scientist in plant science who contributed to understanding indoor plant growth and its many benefits. Together, they heavily influenced Mr. Warrington’s fascination with health and wellness.
Mr. Warrington attributes his success to his motivation to positively impact others through his work. This sense of purpose drives him every day. In the coming years, he intends to expand Energy Lounger LLC by introducing additional innovative red light therapy devices that can significantly impact human health and well-being. Beyond his work-related goals, Mr. Warrington aims to become more active in education by supporting universities’ student well-being initiatives.
