With a career that includes expertise in high-level sales, sales systems creation, closing notable deals, mentorship and training, Mr. Newman has established himself as a leading figure in sales and executive leadership. He currently serves as the chief sales officer and executive vice president at Skyview, the culmination of a journey that began in automotive sales at age 21 when he rose to prominence and at one point was ranked as the number one automotive salesperson for Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep and Ram.

By age 27, Mr. Newman achieved a significant milestone by becoming the youngest retail operation manager for the Hendrick Automotive Group, one of the largest privately owned dealer groups globally. During his tenure, he had the opportunity to meet Rick Hendrick personally and deliver a presentation to nearly 100 general managers at an annual meeting, marking one of his more notable accomplishments. He later transitioned to a general manager role at a local Virginia Beach auto group, where he managed multiple dealerships and served as the face of the company.

In 2021, Mr. Newman ventured into contract sales and construction with 1-800 Hansons, where he became the number one salesperson nationally. Despite an offer to relocate as a regional vice president position in the western United States, he chose to remain in Michigan and joined Skyview Detroit. Working alongside the company’s owners, Mr. Newman’s strategic leadership has resulted in the company’s sales experiencing a remarkable 100% annual growth, surpassing goals like clockwork and moving towards a national expansion. Skyview was also named among the Inc. 5000 companies last year, a testament to his instrumental role in the organization’s success.

Mr. Newman attributes much of his success to a tenacious work ethic, a natural talent for sales and a commitment to continuous learning and mastering sales and sales psychology at the highest level. His willingness to invest time and maintain an open mindset has been key in navigating unique challenges and interactions throughout his career.

Long dedicated to civic advocacy, Mr. Newman is a partner and sponsor of a local charitable foundation that works to improve the quality of life for foster children. He enjoys engaging in mixed martial arts, American-style boxing, Jiu-Jitsu, Muay Thai and Jeet Kune Do in his leisure time. Looking to the future, alongside ownership, he intends to develop Skyview into a national brand and establish it as the leading name in luxury outdoor construction.
