Ms. Gruber, a leader in veterinary services, has been active in the industry for over 25 years. Since 2019, she has been affiliated with Angel Paws Veterinary Services as the founder and executive director of operations. In addition to overseeing daily operations, she manages the entire team, including volunteers, assists with the medical care for the animals, and ensures the facility has all the necessary resources for success. Specializing in providing low-cost medical care for animal shelters and rescues, Angel Paws Veterinary Services is recognized as a nonprofit organization dedicated solely to providing resources to improve the lives of the most at-risk animals in the community. The nonprofit offers adoptions for those interested in providing loving homes and relies on volunteers and fosters.
Before launching Angel Paws, Ms. Gruber was a veterinary marketing and education manager at FUJIFILM SonoSite Inc. from 2019 to 2022. She also worked for National Veterinary Associates between 2015 and 2020 as a veterinary technician and Wilson Veterinary Hospital as a veterinary technician from 1993 to 2020 and as a veterinary practice manager between 1996 and 2002. During her tenure in the industry, Ms. Gruber also garnered success as a community relations manager for Salt Lake County Animal Services from 2004 to 2008.
Apart from her work in this sector, Ms. Gruber held marketing positions with the American National Red Cross, AvanSci Bi and Caveon Test Security. She also taught as an adjunct professor at Westminster College. Highly educated, Ms. Gruber holds a Bachelor of Arts in communication from Westminster University 2000 and a Master of Arts in professional communication on campus in 2008. She is also active as a member of the Utah Nonprofits Association, helping her remain at the forefront of her field. Crediting her ongoing success to the invaluable support of several distinguished veterinarians, Ms. Gruber is also constantly motivated by the opportunity to help animals that may not otherwise receive care. Looking toward the future, she aspires to establish another clinic in a different region and eventually extend to various parts of the country.
