Dr. Wokoma, a leading clinical psychologist, has been excelling as the chief executive officer of AskDoctorFaith, a company she launched in 2012. As a sought-after professional coach, she provides an array of services ranging from how to scale your business to conflict and resolution in the workplace. She also offers strategy sessions for personal development. As part of Dr. Wokoma’s daily responsibilities, she oversees curriculum development and marketing. She also holds customer service retention meetings. Furthermore, she focuses heavily on developing AskDoctorFaith’s vision and plans and connects with the audience to build and scale the business. Dr. Wokoma’s expertise in corporate training, leadership development and content strategy has been pivotal to her success as a business, executive and life coach.
After earning a doctorate in psychology, Dr Wokoma planned to enter private practice. However, she pivoted when she realized the demand for coaching. Quickly developing a passion for helping others create a clear sense of purpose, her company grew and has since begun offering various training programs, including life coaching and emotional wellness certifications. Beyond her consulting company, she has been serving as the lead pastor at Legacy Center Church since 2016. A native of Malawi, Africa, Dr. Wokoma came to the U.S. at age eight. Following high school, she attended Bennett College, a private historically black liberal arts college for women in Greensboro, North Carolina, where she obtained a Bachelor of Science in clinical psychology. She then attended Regent University in Virginia Beach, Virginia, where she received a Doctor of Psychology. Additionally, she completed a fellowship in Raleigh, North Carolina, and a coaching certificate program, making her highly qualified in her field.
Among her most notable accomplishments, Dr. Wokoma is most grateful for her success in certifying clients through her life coaching program, particularly with the launch of the Destiny Training Academy. Launched in 2019, the program guides individuals through the seven stages of identity development. Dr. Wokoma also enjoys working with high-performing individuals to enhance their work-life balance, with a focus on emotional wellness in corporate and nonprofit leadership. Through AskDoctorFaith, she and her team also launched the Elon Project, a nonprofit organization focused on improving education for young African American students by adopting schools. Moreover, Dr. Wokoma has been instrumental in her community, assisting hurricane victims and providing scholarships for single parents through her church. Eager for the future, she aims to leverage technology to develop a platform where all individuals can find the necessary skills and healing to thrive.
