Ms. Bamgboye, president of Manifest Consulting Inc., has been at the helm of her consulting firm since 2022. Based in New York, she takes a lead role in strategy efforts while ensuring that she meets the needs of her clients. Leveraging her expertise as an administrator and expert in public procurement, small business and vendor management, and process reengineering, Ms. Bamgboye’s professional services company focuses on public procurement, contract consulting, small business program development and support.
Having transitioned into the private sector, Ms. Bamgboye began focusing on quality assurance and occasionally worked in health and safety before transitioning into the contracting sphere. Before launching Manifest Consulting Inc., she excelled in various roles, including as an assistant deputy comptroller for the Office of Nassau County Comptroller from 2022 to 2024 and as the deputy chief procurement officer for Nassau County in 2021. Previously, Ms. Bamgboye was affiliated with the New York City Department of Finance as a director of contract administration in 2013, as deputy agency chief contracting officer from 2013 to 2016, and as an agency chief contracting officer between 2016 and 2021.
Ms. Bamgboye’s earlier career included roles with the New York City Department of Citywide Administrative Services between 2009 and 2013. She also excelled as a health and safety specialist with the New York City Department of Environmental Protection from 2008 to 2009, as a public health inspector with the New York City Department of Health and Mental Hygiene in 2008, and as a quality control supervisor at Industrial Projects International between 1999 and 2004. Ms. Bamgboye’s extensive experience, particularly in public procurement, business development and contract consulting, and her diverse roles throughout her career have been instrumental to her success as the founder of Mainfest Consulting Inc.
Highly educated, Ms. Bamgboye has held a Bachelor of Science in science and technology since 1998. Years later, she received a Bachelor of Science in environmental science at the City University of New York in 2013 and a Master of Public Administration in policy analysis and evaluation from Baruch College in 2015. She is currently pursuing a doctorate in business administration at Florida International University.
Civically engaged, Ms. Bamgboye has been an active volunteer and board member for Oxen River Flip Clearwater. She is also heavily invested in her church as the leader of the children’s ministry and assistant pastor at the Redeemed Christian Church of God International Center. Beyond her work and community efforts, Ms. Bamgboye became a published author in 2024 with the release of “On Halloween Night.”
Throughout her remarkable career, Ms. Bamgboye has led critical contract transitions, including one significant project that involved transitioning the city’s financial operating account from the current provider to a new one, encompassing approximately a dozen contracts that required swift negotiation and implementation. She was also successful in spearheading the replacement of the vehicle immobilization, towing and storage services contract for New York City, a contract valued at over $80 million. This service covered all five boroughs, providing essential services for commercial fleet vehicles with legal or enforcement issues. Among other accomplishments, Ms. Bamgboye led the implementation of the Minority and Women Business Enterprise (MWBE) utilization program for the first time during her tenure with the New York City Department of Finance. Under her leadership, the agency achieved the New York City Small Business Services MWBE Award for two consecutive fiscal years in 2017 and 2018.
Ms. Bamgboye attributes her success to her resilient background and education. Despite recognizing that public procurement is a challenging field that requires strength to negotiate and maintain operations, she has persevered and proven to be a trailblazer in the industry. Eager for future opportunities, Ms. Bamgboye intends to remain actively involved in small business development, particularly for minority-owned businesses that have historically faced challenges due to financial hardships or a lack of access, and help them become more competitive.
