Mr. Hasbrouck has led a distinguished and diverse career that spans law, imports and exports, and philanthropy. Since 2014, he has served as the board chair for The World’s Charity Foundation (WCF), where he also took on the role of chief financial officer in 2016. Based in Washington, D.C., the nonprofit focuses on disaster relief. Mr. Hasbrouck’s role involves ensuring that the organization complies with all state and federal laws while operating effectively within its intended purpose. He also analyzes all organizational activities to ensure they align with compliance frameworks and oversees all operations.
Beyond his work at WCF, Mr. Hasbrouck has been the managing director at Already There Imports and Exports (ATIE) LLC since 2015. The company specializes in trading lumber, primarily from the U.S. to China, a significant contract for him. He works with various types of lumber from Australia and China and is presently exploring opportunities in different resource types, which could range widely from technological products to other raw materials. Mr. Hasbrouck’s early career included working as a congressional assistant to the Honorable Louise Slaughter. His widespread expertise in international law and international trade, conflict, compliance and quantitative scientific methodologies have been pivotal to his success.
Mr. Hasbrouck is highly educated, having earned a Bachelor of Arts in legal studies and a Master of Arts in political science, international relations, comparative politics and judicial politics from the University of Buffalo in 2012 and 2015, respectively, and a Doctor of Jurisprudence from The George Washington University in 2017. He presently serves on the philanthropy committee for Phi Alpha Delta. He has also been credited with authoring “The Institutional Value for Human Life: Comparing the United States and Canada” in 2015. Grateful for his educational and professional accomplishments, Mr. Hasbrouck takes pride in the unique perspective he has gained during his career and remains dedicated to making the world a better place. In preparation for the future, Mr. Hasbrouk intends to significantly grow his import and export business and explore opportunities in other industries while remaining involved in charitable work.
