In this managerial role, Mr. Thangappan was responsible for the new and support development of web runtime and portal modules of JD Edwards EnterpriseOne.
Mr. Thangappan worked at Covansys, an information technology and services organization based in Bangalore, as an associate from 2003 to 2004 and then as an associate team lead until 2005. His early career began as a business associate at Tata Consultancy Services in Chennai, India, from 2002 to 2003. Mr. Thangappan’s role was significant because he had the opportunity to serve as a team member who developed the web user interface for the learning management system.
Laying a strong foundation for his successful career in technology, Mr. Thangappan earned a Bachelor of Engineering in mechanical engineering from Karunya Institute of Technology in 2000. He previously graduated from Carmel Higher Secondary School in Nagercoil in 1996, receiving his secondary education in science and mathematics. Mr. Thangappan’s academic achievements have shaped his analytical and problem-solving skills.
In addition to his formal education, Mr. Thangappan participated in the Startup Leadership Program from 2014 to 2015, where he gained valuable insights into entrepreneurship and leadership. This experience further fueled his passion for technology and product development, driving him to build a dedicated team that shares his vision for growth.
Outside of his professional endeavors, Mr. Thangappan enjoys traveling for business and is currently training to fly airplanes. Among various accomplishments throughout his career, his dedication to technology has resulted in him filing a U.S. patent for a computer user interface in 2011, which was issued in 2014 and is now widely utilized worldwide.
