Before her current position, Ms. Tolmie was an executive-level pricing strategist consultant at KPI-Key Pricing Initiatives from 2023 to 2024. Her expertise in pricing strategy was also honed during her tenure at UL Solutions between 2021 and 2023, where she initially served as the director of pricing and proposal management before advancing to global pricing director of strategy and analytics. At UL Solutions, Ms. Tolmie managed the global pricing organization, overseeing the company’s testing, inspection, certification and software. She also established numerous protocols, guidelines and governance structures while leading a team of over a dozen professionals across pricing, products and analytics.
Ms. Tolmie’s career also included a pivotal role as the director of strategic pricing and business analytics at SBM Management Services in Sacramento, California, from 2020 to 2021. During the pandemic, she also contributed to maintenance and cleaning services for various venues. Before SBM Management Services, Ms. Tolmie was a senior sales, finance and pricing manager at Checkr in San Francisco between 2019 and 2020. Additionally, she played a crucial role at Meridian Asset Services (now SitusAMC) in Saint Petersburg, Florida, from 2018 to 2019 as the director of finance and accounting, where she helped prepare the company for its public offering.
One of Ms. Tolmie’s most notable achievements occurred during her five-and-a-half-year tenure at First Advantage, an Atlanta-based firm, from 2013 to 2018. As a pricing director, she restructured the pricing department amidst several turnovers in the C-suite. Her greatest accomplishment was enhancing the competitiveness of the company’s pricing strategy by creating a comprehensive database and launching a new go-to-market pricing structure. Earlier in her career, Ms. Tolmie garnered success with roles at Ceridian as a strategic pricing expert between 2010 and 2012 and as a business analyst IV from 2006 to 2010.
Ms. Tolmie’s academic background includes a Bachelor of Business Administration from the University of South Florida and a Master of Business Administration in finance from the University of Phoenix. In addition to her professional accomplishments, she is actively involved with industry-related organizations, such as The Professional Pricing Society.
In recognition of her hard work and accomplishments, Ms. Tolmie has been recognized with several awards, including the President’s Circle as the first non-sales person awardee at First Advantage and the Mark of Excellence at UL Solutions.
