Among other roles, Mr. Wiita clerked for the corporate law department for Progressive Insurance in Mayfield Village, Ohio, between 2016 and 2017, and was a legal extern for the NASA Glenn Research Center in Cleveland in 2017.
Before passing the bar, Mr. Wiita worked for ChatSports.com as a northeast Ohio regional writer from 2011 to 2012. He also excelled as a quality control manager and social media designer at American Health Advantage in Lake Mary, Florida, between 2010 and 2012.
In preparation for his future, Mr. Wiita’s academic journey began with a diploma from Highland High School in 2010, followed by coursework in marketing at the University of Central Florida. Continuing his studies, he garnered a Bachelor of Science in marketing with a minor in legal foundations of society from The Ohio State University in 2014 and a Doctor of Jurisprudence from Case Western Reserve University in 2017. Mr. Wiita was admitted to practice by the Ohio Bar Association. His educational achievements laid the foundation for his success, equipping him with the skills necessary to excel in law and financial planning.
In addition to his formal education, Mr. Wiita demonstrated adaptability and commitment to excellence in March 2020 when he passed the certified financial planner exam, underscoring his dedication to professional growth. Subsequently, he received the certified kingdom advisor credential in 2024. These designations reflect Mr. Wiita’s expertise in financial, retirement and investment planning.
Mr. Wiita’s civic involvement is equally noteworthy. He has served as a fan advisory board member for the Cleveland Browns and is an active member of the operating committee at Northside Christian Church. Additionally, he volunteers with the Highland Foundation, is a Christian financial planner with Kingdom Advisors, and has led a weekly Bible study group for over five years, demonstrating his commitment to faith-based community leadership.
