Her role involves reducing workloads, implementing networks, and supporting direct sales teams. Ms. Lowry’s expertise in business growth strategies is widely recognized, and her dedication to leadership and people management has consistently generated high sales performance over the last five years.

Prior to her current position, Ms. Lowry worked as director and technical solution manager at Kyndryl from 2021 to 2024. During this time, she was instrumental in developing technical solutions that enhanced company operations. Her tenure at IBM from 2018 to 2021 as a technical solution manager further solidified her reputation for excellence in the field. Her previous roles at IBM included as a technical solution architect and engagement solution architect from 2005 to 2008, a technical enterprise solution architect and global resource manager enablement program lead from 2008 to 2010, and a mobility enterprise manager for workplace support services from 2011 to 2018. Ms. Lowry’s career at IBM began as a manager of UNIX and Intel server, IMAC, and end user services from 1997 to 2005.

Before embarking on her civilian career, Ms. Lowry initially served in the U.S. Navy, where she achieved the historic milestone of being the first woman to serve onboard a combat destroyer, the USS Paul F Foster (DD964). Her military experience laid the foundation for her subsequent success in the corporate world. She also held a senior leadership position at NATO’s communication centers before transitioning to IBM.

Ms. Lowry’s impressive academic background includes a Bachelor of Science in computer science and a Master of Arts in global leadership and sustainable development from Hawaii Pacific University. These notable degrees have been pivotal in shaping her approach to sustainable development and leadership. Ms. Lowry holds numerous certifications, including as a consultant from Kyndryl, in cultivating collaborative leadership experience from ExecOnline, a L.E.A.D for managers from IBM, and several others that underscore her commitment to continuous learning.

Ms. Lowry’s contributions extend beyond her professional endeavors. She is an active member of the Society of Women Engineers since 2015 and the International Society of Sustainability Professionals (ISSP). Her civic involvement includes volunteering bi-monthly at St. Thomas More Catholic Student Parish since 2015, operating as a mentor at IBM from 2015 to 2021, leading climate change projects at IBM in 2016, and her appointment as a board member of the Meadow Wood Homeowners Association.

Ms. Lowry’s achievements have been recognized with accolades such as the President’s Acceleration Cup for work completed for Kaiser Permanente at Kyndryl in 2024 and The Best of IBM Award in 2018. Additionally, she co-owns three patents focused on optimizing storage systems, which have significantly impacted cost savings for companies.

In her personal life, Ms. Lowry enjoys spending time with her family, gardening, painting, and biking. She is passionate about sustainability and plans to publish a book showcasing her artwork while exploring further opportunities related to sustainability initiatives. Inspired by her mother’s philosophy of helping others succeed as a path to personal success, Ms. Lowry hopes to continue to prioritize understanding and supporting those around her in both her professional and personal endeavors in the coming years.
