Ms. Carmona was promoted to product quality engineer in 2008 before being named automotive customer quality engineer between 2011 and 2018. Her tenure at Texas Instruments honed her skills in quality assurance, setting the stage for her subsequent roles.
In 2018, Ms. Carmona joined Honeywell as a quality engineer for sensor safety products and manufacturing facilities. Her exceptional performance led to rapid promotions within the company, culminating in her role as the senior director of global quality engineering by 2022. During her tenure at Honeywell, Ms. Carmona managed diverse products and collaborated with medical and automotive clients, embracing challenges that enriched her expertise.
Beginning her academic pursuits at the University of Texas at Arlington, Ms. Carmona earned a Bachelor of Science in chemistry with minors in Spanish and physics. Her fascination with energy creation and electron movement led her to delve into semiconductor research during her undergraduate studies. Ms. Carmona furthered her education with master’s and doctoral-level coursework on campus. These academic achievements laid the groundwork for her successful engineering and quality management career.
Ms. Carmona is a member of the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers, reflecting her commitment to staying abreast of industry advancements.
