Before joining Compass, Ms. Rothenberger was a sales associate with Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices Fox & Roach, Realtors, in Cherry Hill, New Jersey, from 2018 to 2020. Her journey into real estate began at CENTURY 21 Alliance in Cherry Hill, where she worked as a real estate agent between 2017 and 2018. Ms. Rothenberger’s transition into real estate followed a successful career in retail management that spanned over 25 years.
Ms. Rothenberger’s extensive experience in retail management began with store manager positions at Limited Too, Children’s Place, H&M, and Bath & Body Works between 1995 and 2010. She was then promoted to district manager at Bath & Body Works in 2010 before accepting a position as the director of operations at All the Whey that same year. Ms. Rothenberger subsequently entered the nonprofit sector, joining Habitat for Humanity of Chester County as a manager from 2010 to 2012, where she played a key role in opening a new ReStore. She also engaged in procuring donations, as well as managing profit margins, sales, and payroll expenses, similar to her previous work in traditional retail. Ms. Rothenberger’s final retail leadership position was at Lowe’s Home Improvement, where she served as an assistant manager between 2013 and 2017.
Academically, Ms. Rothenberger holds a Bachelor of Science in fashion merchandising from the University of Delaware, obtained in 1994, and a master’s degree in human resources management from Villanova University, earned in 2007. This advanced education has provided her with valuable insights into managing teams and understanding client needs. Her academic background has also helped shape her approach to customer service and business operations. Beyond her formal degrees, Ms. Rothenberger became a licensed realtor in the state of New Jersey in 2017.
In addition to her professional achievements, Ms. Rothenberger is actively involved in civic organizations. She volunteered with Habitat for Humanity of Chester County from 2010 to 2012 and served as the treasurer for a local football organization.
In light of her success, Ms. Rothenberger received various internal awards throughout her career from several different organizations. She was also recognized as Rookie of the Year in 2017, received a Circle of Excellence Award for over five consecutive years, and was honored with a Silver Circle of Excellence Award in 2024. As a wife and mother of five sons, Ms. Rothenberger looks forward to continued success, envisioning forming a family team within the real estate industry alongside some of her children who are pursuing or considering careers in real estate themselves.
