Mr. Venneti’s previous experience included serving as a senior manager for managed infrastructure and global technology services at Kyndryl Inc. from 2019 to 2023. During his earlier tenure at AT&T between 2007 and 2019, he excelled as a senior manager of client services before becoming a principal director of product management and business development. Notably, Mr. Venneti facilitated substantial cost savings for AT&T through software-based solutions during their transformational efforts.
Mr. Venneti’s career began with roles such as application portfolio manager at IBM Global Services from 1999 to 2000 and later as a senior support manager and subject matter expert for the organization between 2001 and 2007. He also worked for Taos, an IBM company, as a senior technology consultant in information technology operations and strategy from 2000 to 2001.
Possessing a rich educational background, Mr. Venneti received a graduate diploma in technology and systems management from the National Institute of Information Technology in 1997 and a Bachelor of Engineering from Osmania University in India that same year. He also earned a master’s degree in industrial and management systems from West Virginia University in 1999 and a Master of Business Administration from the Smith School of Business at Queen’s University in 2013. During his time at Queen’s University, Mr. Venneti was active in the Cornell High Tech Club, the Cornell Asia Business Association, the Johnson Admission Group, the Cornell Texas Club and the Johnson Human Capital Association.
Mr. Venneti’s commitment to continuous learning is evident through his numerous certifications, including the Concierto application and infrastructure discovery certificate, Concierto fundamentals certification, Concierto cloud migration certification, and prompt engineering for ChatGPT from Vanderbilt University, as well as Amazon Web Services Inc. partner generative AI essentials, among others. These credentials have further solidified his expertise in the field.
Beyond his professional endeavors, Mr. Venneti is involved in civic organizations, such as the Frisco Education Foundation. He is also active on the Stonelake Estates West board of directors and serves as the Frisco Police Department neighborhood watch block captain.
In light of his success, Mr. Venneti was recognized as the Employee of the Year by the AT&T Infrastructure Group in 2018. Looking ahead, he aims to establish his own venture within the realm of AI and education while aspiring to attain a higher position within the C-suite of an organization.
