Ms. Renard’s journey began with a keen observation of communication gaps among contractors, architects and designers during her tenure at Keys Green Builders. This insight led her to develop a more streamlined approach to construction management, focusing on accurate documentation and effective communication. Ms. Renard’s role at Keys Green Builders from 2016 to 2020 encompassed coordinating subcontractors and overseeing construction processes within the elite Ocean Reef Club community in Key Largo, Florida. Her experience in Key Largo significantly influenced Avenelle Design and Management Inc.’s development, as she adapted her approach to better meet the needs of tradespeople and contractors.
Ms. Renard’s career trajectory included valuable experiences at Chute Gerdeman, where she served as a junior designer from 2013 to 2015 and as a freelancer from 2016 to 2017. Her initial foray into the industry began with an internship at the award-winning retail and design firm in 2012, which quickly transitioned into a full-time role after she graduated from college.
In preparation for her future, Ms. Renard earned a Bachelor of Science in interior space design with a focus on leadership and dance from The Ohio State University in 2013. This education laid the foundation for her expertise in strategic design and visual communication. Adding to her expertise, Ms. Renard holds an NCIDQ certification from the Council for Interior Design Qualification (CIDQ), obtained in 2018.
In addition to her professional accomplishments, Ms. Renard is an active member of several professional organizations, including the Ocean Reef Club Chamber of Commerce and the CIDQ. Her dedication extends beyond her professional endeavors, as she serves on the board of the apprenticeship program at The College of the Florida Keys, where she works to enhance opportunities for skilled labor in the region. Additionally, Ms. Renard’s involvement with civic-minded organizations such as the Ocean Waves Club.
Throughout her career, Ms. Renard has been recognized for her achievements, including being an international finalist for Imola Tile Company’s Talent for Tiles Competition in 2011 and receiving Best in Show at her Senior Showcase Presentation in 2013.
