Leveraging his expertise in business management and retail, which he has honed over an impressive career spanning more than a decade, Mr. Venerable was recruited to Congo Brands from Red Bull. Having served as the beverage company’s senior director of e-commerce from 2022 to 2024, he played a pivotal role in driving the company’s growth. Under Mr. Venerable’s leadership, e-commerce sales increased significantly, contributing to 60% of Red Bull’s overall growth during his tenure.
Before joining Red Bull, Mr. Venerable held several key positions at Reckitt in Parsippany, New Jersey, and Chicago, Illinois, beginning in 2018 as an e-commerce key account manager for Club Channel and then as an e-commerce key account manager for Walmart.com. in 2020. He then served as a senior commercial manager for e-commerce, followed by his role as the omnichannel sales director for Brick and Click between 2020 and 2021, further solidifying his reputation as a leader in integrating online and offline sales strategies. Mr. Venerable then transitioned into the role of sales director of e-commerce for Amazon and new platforms until 2022, where he played a key role in expanding the company’s digital footprint.
Mr. Venerable’s career with Nestlé spanned from 2014 to 2018, where he participated in the Nestlé Sales Development Program. During this time, he advanced through various roles, including retail sales representative in Savannah, Georgia, between 2014 and 2016, customer development account associate in Charlotte, North Carolina, from 2016 to 2017, and as a category account associate in Nashville, Tennessee, between 2017 and 2018. Mr. Venerable’s foundational experience included serving as an assistant manager at Champs Sports in Madison, starting in 2011.
In preparation for his future, Mr. Venerable received a Bachelor of Science in sociology from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, graduating in 2014. This educational background provided him with a unique perspective on consumer behavior, which has been instrumental in his professional achievements.
Beyond his professional endeavors, Mr. Venerable is deeply committed to his family and community. He actively participates in his children’s activities and volunteers his time to support youth through wrestling practices and basketball training. Mr. Venerable’s dedication extends to maintaining meaningful relationships despite having to keep a busy schedule.
