Mr. Bond has cultivated a distinguished career spanning over 45 years, marked by his expertise in engineering, legal research and media rights. Today, he serves as a consultant at Bond Consults, where he has demonstrated an unwavering commitment to excellence.
Having begun his long and diverse career after serving his country in the U.S. Air Force between 1972 and 1979, Mr. Bond honed the skills that would later define his professional ethos. After exiting the military, he embarked on a diverse career path. He worked in the quality control division at Tom Co. Equipment Co. from 1979 to 1980 and as a quality engineer at Avondale Shipyards between 1980 and 1981. His role as the lead auditor at Nuclear Installation Service from 1981 to 1982 and then as a senior quality engineer until 1984 further solidified his reputation for meticulous attention to detail. Among other noteworthy roles, Mr. Bond worked as a quality engineer at ITT-Grinnell, as a quality consultant at Michigan Quality Systems, and as a lead engineer at Public Service Electric and Gas.
In 1993, Mr. Bond began expanding his expertise when he transitioned to a private marketing consultancy with Melaleuca Inc. He subsequently garnered success as a service dog trainer and held other roles in research, computer repair, and newspaper advertising sales, reflecting his adaptability and broad skill set.
Mr. Bond’s academic achievements have been instrumental in his success. He earned an Associate of Arts from Louisiana Tech University in 1978, an Associate of Applied Science from the Community College of the Air Force in 1980, an Associate of Science from Salem Community College in 1987, and a Bachelor of Science from Thomas A. Edison College in 1989. Years later, he returned to college, where he received a Master of Arts in biblical studies from Patriot Bible University in 2006. Additionally, Mr. Bond became certified in project management through the Pennsylvania State University and earned credentials from the American Society for Quality Control.
Active in his professional community, Mr. Bond’s memberships include the American Bar Association, the Project Management Institute Inc., and the American Society for Quality. He is also involved in community organizations, such as the Commanders Club, Shriners International and the American Legion, and serves on the advisory committee for the PSE&G Speakers Bureau. Previously, Mr. Bond was active as an ambassador for San Luis Valley Health Regional Medical Center, was the section chair for the United Way of Salem, and held various leadership roles within Scouting America and other community organizations.
Mr. Bond’s creative endeavors have included authoring “Delaware Valley: Our Natural Trail” and contributing articles to various local newspapers. Recognized for his contributions and leadership, he was nominated to attend the World’s Leaders Summit in 2025. He also received several accolades, such as the Supreme Council Grand Inspectors General Awards and recognition as a Sir Knight by the Knights Templar Eye Foundation.
Despite facing personal health challenges, Mr. Bond remains dedicated to improving health care for U.S. veterans and continues his passion for meteorite research. His resilience is attributed to the values instilled by his father, who emphasized perseverance and service and served as a testament to his enduring impact on both professional and community spheres.
