Mr. Buttaro’s career also includes significant achievements as national sales manager at Pro Tool Industries from 2011 to 2015. During this time, he drove a 14 percent sales increase in his first year and a 19 percent increase in his second year. He spearheaded the development of a new product line for Cabela’s and expanded the dealer base by 12 percent. Mr. Buttaro previously found success as the sales manager at Capital Wine & Spirits from 2007 to 2011 and retail account manager at Diageo from 2002 to 2004, where he increased product distribution by 30 percent and grew sales within his territory by 22 percent.
Mr. Buttaro’s early career was shaped by his role as a sales consultant at Southern Wine and Spirits from 1997 to 2002, where he increased house wine sales by 16 percent and was celebrated as a Top Salesman, earning him a trip to Italy. He began his professional journey with the American Heart Association from 1994 to 1997, where he worked in nonprofit development after starting as a volunteer.
Mr. Buttaro’s educational background includes coursework toward an associate degree in general studies at Montgomery County Community College and a diploma from St Pius X High School. He is certified in leadership development through Leadership Tri-County Chamber of Commerce and holds certification as a beverage professional from the Court of Master Sommeliers Americas.
In addition to his primary accomplishments, Mr. Buttaro is actively involved in civic organizations. He was appointed as the vice president of the board of directors and the chairman of the marketing committee for Community Health & Dental Care Inc. He was also recruited as a board member and fundraising committee chair for Berks Arts.
