Ms. Yin has established herself as a distinguished leader in the field of regulatory reporting, currently serving as the managing director and head of regulatory reporting policy at JPMorgan Chase & Co. since 2015. In this role, she leads the firm’s advocacy initiatives with U.S. regulators, including the Federal Reserve, the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency, and the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation. Ms. Yin’s team provides technical support on over 100 regulatory reports filed with these entities and is responsible for guiding and training more than 20,000 employees within the firm. Additionally, she spearheads JPMorgan’s industry initiatives with organizations such as the Bank Policy Institute and the American Bankers Association.

Before being acquired by JPMorgan Chase & Co., Ms. Yin was a director of regulatory reporting at American International Group (AIG) Inc., a publicly traded global insurance company, from 2012 to 2015. During her tenure, she refined her expertise in the industry, laying a strong foundation for her subsequent leadership roles.

Ms. Yin previously enjoyed a successful tenure at GE Capital, a division of General Electric, between 2003 and 2012. Hired as a controller, she also held the title of global finance manager at GE Real Estate, where she managed financial operations on an international scale from 2007 to 2011. Additionally, Ms. Yin held the title of regulatory reporting leader at GE Capital between 2011 and 2012. Her early career began at KPMG LLP in New York and Zurich, where she served as a senior manager from 1996 to 2003, gaining invaluable experience in auditing and financial management.

Ms. Yin’s academic background has been instrumental in her professional achievements. She earned a Bachelor of Science in finance and banking from Xiamen University in China in 1990 and a Master of Business Administration in accounting from Baruch College in New York City in 1996. The knowledge and skills acquired through these programs have been pivotal in Ms. Yin’s ability to navigate complex financial landscapes and lead large teams effectively.

In addition to her professional endeavors, Ms. Yin is actively involved in civic organizations. She serves on the board of trustees for Homeless Solutions Inc., contributing her expertise to address homelessness issues since 2021. Moreover, Ms. Yin is a member of the advisory board for the accounting department at Baruch College, where she supports academic excellence and industry relevance.

Throughout her career, Ms. Yin has been recognized for her outstanding contributions with several accolades, including the Outstanding Ovation Award from KPMG LLP and the Top Performer and Global Controllers Award from GE Capital. These honors reflect her dedication to excellence and leadership within her field.

Ms. Yin takes pride in being a role model for her peers and team members as a first-generation immigrant and minority woman leader. Balancing her professional responsibilities with being a working mother is among her most significant accomplishments. As she looks toward retirement, Ms. Yin aspires to continue serving on both for-profit and nonprofit boards while leveraging her extensive skill set to make meaningful contributions to various organizations.
