Michael Free Du Gan, Co-Founder at CM Capital Enterprises, has been recognized by Marquis Who’s Who Top Executives for dedication, achievements and leadership in Supply Chain Management, Logistics and Real Estate.
Mr. Du Gan serves as a managing partner at CM Capital Enterprises, a position he has held since 2023. Representing the privately held investment company, which focuses on acquiring and managing opportunistic and value-add multi-family properties, his interest in CM Capital grew from a longstanding passion for passive investment and the desire to make money work efficiently.
Before pivoting into this sector, Mr. Du Gan was renowned for his success and distinguished career in supply chain management, marked by a series of progressive leadership roles and innovative contributions across multiple industries. From 2023 to 2025, he was a senior program manager for fleet innovation and execution at Amazon Logistics. In this role, Mr. Du Gan oversaw strategic projects that supported the company’s logistics operations on a continental scale. He successfully led a team dedicated to driving innovation and executing strategies for upstream teams that designed or outsourced aftermarket components to enhance vehicle performance. Furthermore, he was responsible for managing vendor relationships, overseeing property operations and maintaining strong investor relations across all properties.
Mr. Du Gan’s tenure at Amazon was marked by a series of increasingly senior positions, each reflecting his deepening expertise in supply chain management and operational excellence. Between 2022 and 2023, he served as a senior manager for Amazon Logistics’ last-mile fleet. He previously excelled as a manager III for last-mile fleet solutions from 2020 to 2022. Between 2019 and 2020, Mr. Du Gan contributed as senior program manager II for fleet innovation. Earlier in 2019, he was a senior program manager II for fleet maintenance, ensuring the reliability and performance of Amazon’s delivery vehicles.
Initially hired by Amazon.com in 2015, Mr. Du Gan worked as an outbound area manager for two years. He then transitioned into the role of learning operations manager. During that time, he traveled along the East Coast to deliver continuous improvement training to salaried leaders, a project he found particularly rewarding due to its impact on organizational development. Mr. Du Gan then became an outbound operations manager and then an inbound operations manager until 2019.
Mr. Du Gan’s academic background is robust. He completed coursework in real estate investment, which included studies in assets, markets and current trends, through the Harvard Division of Continuing Education. He previously earned an Amazon Lean Six Sigma green belt certification from the University of South Florida’s Office of Corporate Training and Professional Education. Mr. Du Gan also completed coursework in leading more effective teams through Harvard Division of Continuing Education and completed coursework in successful negotiation through the University of Michigan. Moreover, Mr. Du Gan gained hands-on experience through internships with Alpha Industries and PepsiCo.
Beyond his professional pursuits, Mr. Du Gan is committed to civic engagement and community service. He has served as a volunteer coordinator for Komen Milwaukee Race for the Cure and Christmas Village. He has also built sheds with Knoxville Habitat for Humanity, tutored students at Lonsdale Elementary School, volunteered with the Breast Cancer Awareness Foundation, and participated in fundraising efforts for the Multiple Sclerosis Foundation.
Among Mr. Du Gan’s most notable achievements at Amazon was managing strategic projects that scaled across North America and were later replicated in the European Union. In 2022, he proposed leveraging internal teams of hourly associates for tactical tasks, enabling salaried leaders to focus on strategic initiatives and expansion efforts. This approach was approved and led to the efficient growth of the central operations team, which now manages projects across North America and supports geographic expansion and new country launches.
Attributing his success to maintaining a positive and growth-oriented mindset, Mr. Du Gan is eager about the future of his involvement with CM Capital Enterprises. Recognizing real estate as a powerful asset class for diversification, he aims to ensure exceptional performance within his real estate business by securing new deals that provide strong returns for investors. Mr. Du Gan is dedicated to becoming a full-time leader in real estate while continuing to excel as a top-tier talent who drives programs forward and helps others achieve their goals.
