Mr. Bocchieri has established a distinguished career spanning over 35 years, marked by entrepreneurial drive, resilience and a commitment to excellence. As the president and founder of MAMBA Hot Sauces since 2022, he has dedicated himself to building a brand that reflects his passion for culinary innovation and his desire to connect with customers. In this role, Mr. Bocchieri travels extensively to visit clients, assist with kitchen operations and conduct tastings that introduce new customers to his products while promoting the online business. His hands-on approach and willingness to address any client need have been instrumental in the continuous growth of MAMBA Hot Sauces.
Since 2024, Mr. Bocchieri has also served as a business development manager at Cozzini Bros. in New York City. In this capacity, he drives throughout Manhattan, engaging directly with chefs and restaurant owners in the culinary sector. Cozzini Bros., a company with nearly a century of history specializing in commercial and chef knives, benefits from Mr. Bocchieri’s expertise in relationship-building and market expansion.
Before these roles, Mr. Bocchieri worked in retail leadership as an assistant manager at Bob’s Discount Furniture from 2022 to 2024. There, he gained valuable experience in the furniture industry, refining his skills in customer service and team leadership within a respected family-owned business.
Between 2020 and 2022, Mr. Bocchieri worked as a builders’ division sales project manager and field foreman at Appliances Connection. He managed online reselling operations, visited construction sites and collaborated closely with contractors and architects. Mr. Bocchieri’s responsibilities also included overseeing installation crews and facilitating appliance sales, drawing on his technical background and communication skills.
Earlier, Mr. Bocchieri was employed as a VIP guest hospitality specialist at The Greenwich Hotel under the ownership of Robert De Niro. This position, which spanned from 2017 to 2020, enabled him to refine his high-end hospitality management and client relations skills. However, Mr. Bocchieri’s most significant professional tenure was at P.C. Richard & Son, where he began his career in retail in 1995 as a sales counselor. Over the course of more than 20 years, he advanced through several leadership positions, culminating in his appointment as the general manager of the company’s flagship Atlantic Avenue store from 2009 to 2017. During this period, Mr. Bocchieri became recognized as the top manager at the company’s most prominent location, excelling in attracting new clients, ensuring profitability and training employees on product knowledge and best practices.
Mr. Bocchieri’s educational background laid a solid foundation for his achievements. After graduating from James Madison High School in Brooklyn, New York, in 1988, he earned an associate degree in business and commerce at Kingsborough Community College in Brooklyn in 1992. Mr. Bocchieri also pursued additional coursework at a local trade school in 1993, which provided him with technical training that proved invaluable throughout his career. Besides his formal education, he garnered certification in commercial/home air conditioning and refrigeration, appliance maintenance and repair, which facilitated his entry into the appliance industry at P.C. Richard & Son.
Motivated by a deep fear of failure as a motivating force behind launching MAMBA Hot Sauces, coupled with pride in providing for his family and creating generational wealth, Mr. Bocchieri remains committed to making MAMBA Hot Sauces a household name by focusing on pepper flavor diversity inspired by Caribbean, South American and Southern culinary traditions encountered during his upbringing in Brooklyn. Additionally, he plans to leverage MAMBA Hot Sauces and Albelina Management Ltd. by utilizing their platforms to support initiatives benefiting individuals with cerebral palsy, a cause close to his heart due to family connections.
