Scott E. Riedy, Principal Consultant at Aldridge, has been recognized by Marquis Who’s Who Top Executives for dedication, achievements and leadership in the information technology industry.

Mr. Riedy has established a distinguished career spanning over 25 years in the information technology (IT) and consulting sector, marked by progressive leadership roles and technical expertise. Since 2024, he has served as a principal consultant at Aldridge, an IT outsourcing, consulting and cybersecurity company, where he assists clients by addressing their technology needs, generating comprehensive reports and budgets, conducting quarterly business reviews and making strategic recommendations to enhance technology and security postures for users and their environments. Mr. Reidy’s ability to translate complex technical information into accessible language has been a defining strength throughout his career.

Before being acquired by Aldridge, Mr. Riedy was a technical account manager at Pacific Office Automation in 2024. In this capacity, he was responsible for managing regional client relationships. From 2020 to 2023, Mr. Riedy contributed his expertise as an IT business partner at Lineage Logistics. He also excelled at Trillium Professional Services, where he advanced from project coordinator to project manager between 2015 and 2020.

Among other notable positions, Mr. Riedy has worked for OacketDrivers IT Outsourcing, PEMCO, Safeco Insurance, Staples, Northwest Staffing and Washington Mutual, dating back to 2003. It was during his time at PacketDrivers IT Outsourcing, however, that he achieved one of his most significant professional accomplishments. As a systems support engineer II from 2011 to 2014, he independently developed and implemented a new computer system for a client that was a contractor for the U.S. Navy and U.S. Air Force. The client required specialized components for the drive shaft of the U.S. Navy fleet, with only two manufacturers worldwide capable of producing these parts. Mr. Riedy collaborated with contractors in Germany to design and build a computer that replaced the existing control system for managing the massive steel-melting bucket used in production, ultimately enabling efficient management of critical manufacturing processes.

Beyond his work in IT, Mr. Riedy is creatively inclined. He serves as the lead and rhythm guitarist for The Cascadian Divide, a Seattle-based punk band that has been featured on radio stations and has albums available on major streaming platforms. The band performs live shows regularly throughout the region.

Mr. Riedy holds an Associate of Arts and Sciences from Seattle Central College, earned in 2004. He also pursued professional certifications that have enhanced his technical proficiency, including a desktop support certification from HDI in 2011 and an IT service management essentials certification from Professional Designations in 2023.

Throughout his career, Mr. Riedy has demonstrated a commitment to professional development and industry engagement. He has been a member of the Project Management Institute since 2015 and holds a lifetime membership with Helpdesk International, organizations that contribute to his ongoing expertise. Beyond his professional pursuits, Mr. Riedy is actively involved in civic initiatives as a contributor to Environment Washington.

Mr. Riedy’s dedication to leadership was recognized with the X-Factor Award for executive leadership in 2020. He attributes his success to an unwavering commitment, thorough preparation, fortuitous opportunities, honesty and a diligent work ethic. These qualities have propelled him into positions of increasing responsibility. Looking ahead, Mr. Riedy aims to advance into director or vice president-level roles within his field while establishing himself as a public speaker with aspirations for recognition on platforms such as TED Talks.
