Mr. Clark currently serves as the vice president of analytics and investigations at Tranquility AI, a position he has held since 2024. In this capacity, he leads the development and implementation of advanced analytical solutions for law enforcement agencies nationwide. Mr. Clark regards the creation of Tranquility AI as his most significant professional achievement, viewing it as the culmination of more than two decades of experience in digital forensics analysis and criminal intelligence. Through his expertise, Mr. Clark has been able to demonstrate how artificial intelligence can revolutionize crime solving, from homicide investigations to cold case breakthroughs. He regularly showcases the software to attorneys general, district attorneys, police chiefs and sheriffs, illustrating its real-world impact on public safety.
In his role, Mr. Clark specializes in digital forensics analysis, providing expert insights into cellphone data to determine suspects’ locations, communications and contacts. His work extended to identifying illegal activities such as gun trading and tracing fentanyl distribution networks. Mr. Clark has also played a vital role in cases involving crimes against children by investigating digital evidence to identify victims, offenders and purchasers.
Earlier, Mr. Clark was the director of the crime strategies and intelligence unit at Colorado’s 4th Judicial District Attorney’s Office from 2021 to 2024. He established this unit from the ground up, making the office the first in Colorado to integrate an analyst into its operations. Mr. Clark collaborated with multiple jurisdictions, including local police departments, sheriff’s offices and federal agencies, such as the FBI, the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives, and the Drug Enforcement Administration. His work addressed major crimes, including homicides, kidnappings, mass shootings and threats against political figures. Notably, Mr. Clark pioneered the use of vehicle data analysis in criminal investigations, a practice now adopted nationwide, demonstrating how modern vehicles’ onboard data can be critical in solving complex cases.
From 2013 to 2021, Mr. Clark excelled as a senior criminal intelligence analyst for the Colorado Springs Police Department in the City of Colorado Springs, Colorado. He also worked as a contractor for McCallie Associates Inc. (now Alutiiq LLC) from 2012 to 2013. Mr. Clark began his professional journey with distinguished service in the U.S. Air Force between 2003 and 2012, attaining the rank of technical sergeant (E-6). During his military tenure, he developed foundational skills in communications applications, technology and intelligence analysis that would later inform his civilian career.
Mr. Clark’s academic background includes an Associate of Science in fire science from Columbia Basin College in 2000 and an Associate of Applied Science in communications applications technology from the Community College of the Air Force-Air University in 2005. He later earned a Bachelor of Arts in homeland security from American Military University in 2010 and a Master of Science in project management from Colorado Technical University in 2011. Mr. Clark further enhanced his credentials with certification in Microsoft relational databases, cybercrime analysis and digital forensic analysis from American Military University.
Throughout his career, Mr. Clark has been recognized for his expertise, affiliated with professional organizations that include the International Association of Chiefs of Police, the Colorado Homicide Investigators Association and the International Association of Crime Analysts.
Beyond his professional achievements, Mr. Clark is actively involved in civic organizations and community service initiatives. He has served as a board member for the Police Foundation of Colorado Springs since 2022 and as a community advisory committee member for the Pikes Peak Area Council of Governments since 2025. Mr. Clark has also been a guest lecturer at Pikes Peak State College and a volunteer with Ronald McDonald House Charities, Habitat for Humanity International and March of Dimes.
Mr. Clark has contributed to professional literature as the co-author and editor of “Exploring Crime Analysis,” 4th Edition, via the International Association of Crime Analysts IACANET in 2024. He has also been featured on season one of “The Stepmom” on Murder Uncut in 2023, appeared as a guest on “Grizzly True Crime” in 2023, and was featured in “Letecia Stauch, Trial of the Wicked Stepmother” by Netta Newbound and Marcus Brown in 2024.
In light of his success, Mr. Clark has been recognized with numerous awards from his military tenure, including Airman of the Year by the National Air and Space Intelligence Center in 2007. He was also named Civilian of the Year by the Colorado Springs Police Department in 2020, received a Department Commendation from the Colorado Springs Police Department in 2021, and was given a Justice Award from Colorado’s 4th Judicial District Attorney’s Office in 2024.
