His responsibilities included leading investigations into fatalities and deaths as well as serving as commander during critical incidents. Additionally, Mr. Mühlbeier spent several years as a task force detective with the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA), where he participated in undercover operations and clandestine laboratory investigations.
Earlier in his career, Mr. Mühlbeier worked as an incident manager for the Department of Natural Resources and Conservation from 1988 to 1999. In this role, he gained significant experience in incident command and crisis management.

His commitment to professional development became evident through numerous certifications from the Occupational Safety and Health Administration, PEC, the National Safety Council, the DEA, the U.S. Department of Homeland Security, and, among other organizations, Johns Hopkins University SAIS Online. Mr. Mühlbeier attributes his success to a continual desire to learn and challenge himself.
