Mohamed Lamine Bamba, senior accounting manager at SpaceX, has been recognized by Marquis Who’s Who Top Executives for dedication, achievements, and leadership in aviation and aerospace and finance.

For more than 15 years, Mr. Bamba has established his expertise in the field of finance, with a particular focus on the aviation and aerospace industry. Born in Ivory Coast, his professional journey started in 2009 as an audit and advisory supervisor for KPMG Côte d’Ivoire. Through this global company, Mr. Bamba was able to provide financial guidance to a range of business clients. He joined later KPMG Switzerland as a senior audit consultant.

During this time, Mr. Bamba decided to immigrate to the United States, completing the process in 2021. The next year, he took on the role of group internal auditor at The Middleby Corporation. In this position, Mr. Bamba managed a team of three auditors in evaluating the firm’s financial reporting. He later contributed as an internal audit manager for NiSource, a gas and electric company operating across six states and employing more than 7,000 people.

Since 2024, Mr. Bamba has served as a senior accounting manager for SpaceX, a company at the forefront of human spaceflight and exploration. He oversees a team of five at the organization, maintaining daily bookkeeping of transactions and reviewing financial statements for international operations in over 43 African countries. In addition to ensuring that all records are kept clear and up-to-date, Mr. Bamba coordinates with external auditors and is responsible for guaranteeing that financial compliance obligations are met for regulatory bodies. He also aggregates all of that data for yearly reports.

Prior to embarking upon his professional journey, Mr. Bamba set a strong foundation in his academic journey, beginning with an associate’s degree in accounting and finance from Agitel Formation in his home country of the Ivory Coast in 2008. In 2013, he obtained a master’s degree in accounting and business management from Université Félix Houphouët-Boigny. Subsequently, Mr. Bamba earned a second master’s degree in banking and finance from Institut National Polytechnique Félix Houphouët-Boigny in 2015. Committed to lifelong improvement, he has continued his professional training outside of academic settings. Mr. Bamba has been trained on guidelines for financial audits contracted by foreign recipients of U.S. federal grants through Absolute BME and as a certified internal auditor through The Institute of Internal Auditors. Most recently, he completed certification through the Harvard Business Analytics Program in 2025.

Mr. Bamba has been a member of several important organizations relevant to his field. Among them, he maintains membership in the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners Inc. and The Institute of Internal Auditors. Mr. Bamba credits his career success to the guidance and support of his parents and the many other supportive people he’s encountered throughout his journey. He notes that his parents instilled many important values in him, including commitment, courage, determination, education, integrity, respect and selflessness.

Beyond all of the hard work that he has poured into his professional life, Mr. Bamba is proud of building a strong family, including his wife and four sons, while navigating his path from the Ivory Coast to Europe to the U.S. His favorite hobbies include taking road trips, watching movies, playing video games, discovering new foods and learning through documentaries. Looking ahead, Mr. Bamba is dedicated to making a positive impact in his field, especially through supporting others who come from underprivileged backgrounds like his own. He hopes to share his story and inspire others with a message of how determination and courage can aid one in overcoming even the most challenging circumstances.
