Remso W. Martinez, chief executive officer of Marketer on the Run, has been recognized by Marquis Who’s Who Top Executives for dedication, achievements, and leadership in digital marketing.
Though he initially explored politics and journalism as professional paths, Mr. Martinez quickly discovered his instinct for marketing in college, where he managed social media pages for a number of student organizations. Building on those foundations, he began to monetize those skills, offering to optimize Facebook presence for local businesses. While honing his marketing talents, Mr. Martinez took on several internships in 2015 and 2016, including at FreedomWorks, the Media Research Center and Tom Garrett for Congress. He also briefly contributed as a policy analyst for Brian Suojanen, a candidate for the Virginia House of Delegates.
Mr. Martinez continued to gain experience in politics through 2018 in such positions as campaign manager for Albert Billingsley’s run for Lynchburg, Virginia, city council, an intern for Young Americans for Liberty Inc., a journalist for RedTea News and a freelance political consultant. During this time, he also launched his own podcast to further develop and amplify his personal brand, which in turn earned him wider attention. Mr. Martinez leveraged that attention in 2019, becoming a social media coordinator for The Washington Times. In this role, he managed the digital development strategy for the newspaper’s social media accounts, while also spearheading efforts to grow its reach through new column ideas and partnerships with nonprofits and advocacy groups.
Following his tenure with The Washington Times, Mr. Martinez spent time as an outreach director at Parler, a digital marketing manager for the Badger Institute and Intermarkets Inc., and an audience strategist for The Publisher Desk. In 2024, he opened his own company, Marketer on the Run, where he has served as the chief executive officer since. Mr. Martinez oversees all aspects of the company’s operations, through which he offers clients a wide range of marketing options, including social media management, influencer marketing, graphic design, photography, marketing strategy coaching, search engine optimization (SEO), public relations consulting, artificial intelligence (AI) integration and more. He works with clients across many fields, from small businesses in the Las Vegas area to nationwide super PACs.
Alongside the early steps in his career, Mr. Martinez established the foundation of his future success in his education. He obtained an Associate of Science in military operational art and science from Marion Military Institute in 2015. Subsequently, Mr. Martinez earned a Bachelor of Science in government, politics and policy from Liberty University in 2017. He is certified in SEO and content marketing through HubSpot Academy; web analytics, online marketing fundamentals, and affiliate marketing through the eMarketing Institute; and marketing solutions fundamentals through LinkedIn.
A volunteer within his local community, Mr. Martinez has consistently found ways to give back outside of the progress of his professional life. He has volunteered with such organizations as Catchafire, the Lynchburg Humane Society, and Waymaker Church, formerly Brentwood Church. For five years, Mr. Martinez was affiliated with the Civil Air Patrol, rising to the rank of cadet second lieutenant. He also fulfilled five years of military service as an officer in the Virginia National Guard from 2015 to 2022.
A prolific writer, Mr. Martinez has published a number of nonfiction books. His first, a comedic look at politics titled “Stay Away From the Libertarians,” was published in 2017 and became an Amazon bestseller with endorsements from media figures such as Ben Shapiro and Dallas Jenkins. Mr. Martinez followed that up in 2019 with “How To Succeed in Politics (and Other Forms of Devil Worship).” He has also used writing to spread his marketing insight through 2023’s “The Small Business Owner’s Digital Marketing Handbook.”
Beyond his career, Mr. Martinez is a devoted husband to his wife, Juliana. Outside of work hours, he relaxes by watching television, reading, traveling and playing blackjack. Looking ahead, Mr. Martinez has embraced ambitious goals for the future of Marketer on the Run. In particular, he aims to turn his company into the premier marketing agency in Las Vegas. Mr. Martinez is currently planning the company’s first large Christmas party event and is eager to expand on charitable endeavors that will assist small businesses across the United States. He emphasizes his passion for helping these organizations thrive, as he recognizes that 99% of U.S. businesses are small enterprises.
