Under Mr. Hermes’s direction, USA Showers developed a scalable, one-day custom tub-and-shower replacement model, enabling predictable growth and high customer satisfaction. In 2024, he expanded operations into new markets, including Wisconsin, and set forth a vision to open multiple additional branches.
Before establishing USA Showers, Mr. Hermes owned Chris Hermes Inc. from 2008 to 2024, where he honed his business acumen and deepened his expertise in the home improvement sector as a thriving entrepreneur. Between 2012 and 2016, he worked in sales as a sales representative for Mastercraft Exteriors, the nation’s leading roofing contractor, gaining valuable experience in client relations and sales strategy.
Some of Mr. Hermes’s other entrepreneurial ventures included co-owning Hermes Brooks & Associates from 2010 to 2012 and New Age Cash Flow between 2007 and 2009. His earlier career included serving as a regional sales manager at Fortune High Tech from 2005 to 2007, after initially holding the same role at ACN Inc., starting in 2004.
Mr. Hermes’s educational background includes an associate degree in diesel mechanics from Fox Valley Technical College, earned in 2000. This technical foundation provided him with problem-solving skills and a disciplined approach to operational challenges.
In addition to his education, Mr. Hermes’s active membership with The Big 12 – Home Improvement Mastermind Group has allowed him to continually grow in his field and collaborate with industry peers to drive innovation. Civic engagement is equally important to him. Most notably, he launched USA Showers Cares and Showers for Heroes, initiatives that provide free safety showers for veterans following milestone installations. By partnering with community programs and veterans’ initiatives, such as Baths for the Brave, Mr. Hermes has strengthened the company’s philanthropic impact and reinforced its mission of service.
Mr. Hermes has contributed thought leadership to the industry as the author of “What’s in the Cards for 2025: An Ambitious Video Goal and Expanding Into New Markets,” published in Pro Remodeler in 2025. He has also presented on various industry-related topics, including at the 2024 Accelerate Live event.
In light of his accomplishments, Mr. Hermes has received several industry awards, including Best Place to Work in Phoenix in 2024, Top Performing Business in Google Reviews and Business Rate, and ranking number 269 among the Top 500 Home Improvement Companies by Qualified Remodeler.
