Ms. Hamilton’s responsibilities also include capturing requirements from internal and external clients and transforming them into tangible results. Her role is distinguished by her ability to ensure compliance while fostering effective collaboration, a testament to her expertise in training and compliance.

First acquired by Jacobs in 2005, Ms. Hamilton spent nearly two decades as a deputy federal procurement director in the Greater Denver area. She played a pivotal role in supporting federal government projects during this time. Through these experiences, she developed a deep expertise in contract and subcontract management, further solidifying her reputation as a leader in the field. From 2024 to 2025, Ms. Hamilton also served as the director of federal procurement at Jacobs in Greenwood Village.

Ms. Hamilton’s earlier career included experience in the technology sector. In 2001, she worked as a consultant and business analyst for Interlink Group Inc., now Dell Technologies, Dell Inc. Her responsibilities included writing software requirements specifications, creating process flows for new business requirements, and performing quality assurance testing, among other tasks. From 1997 to 2001, Ms. Hamilton was an associate project manager at iXL Enterprises Inc. Her early work in the tech industry laid a strong foundation for her later transition into construction and engineering consulting, where she continued to build on her expertise.

In preparation for her future, Ms. Hamilton earned a Bachelor of Arts in English writing from Knox College in 1994. This educational foundation has been instrumental in her ability to communicate effectively and manage complex projects. In 2022, she further enhanced her professional credentials by earning a certification in building business acumen from Acumen Learning.

Ms. Hamilton is an active member of several professional organizations, including the National Contract Management Association and the Project Management Institute Inc. Her involvement in these associations underscores her commitment to professional development and industry best practices. Beyond her professional achievements, Ms. Hamilton is dedicated to civic engagement and community service. She is an active member of the Women’s Network at Jacobs and volunteers with Habitat for Humanity International.

In recognition of her accomplishments, Ms. Hamilton has received several awards, including the Lew Shattuck Small Business Advocate of the Year from the National Small Business Association in 2009. She also received a Poetry Award for her personal writing initiatives.
