Under Mr. Jackson’s leadership during this period, the research department consistently ranked among the top three in the Institutional All-America Research poll and achieved first or second place in the Greenwich Associates poll. Mr. Jackson’s professional journey began with an early interest in stocks during graduate school, which led him to pursue a position at Merrill Lynch, Pierce, Fenner & Smith, now part of Bank of America Merrill Lynch, where he developed foundational skills that shaped his future success.
Mr. Jackson’s academic background includes a Bachelor of Arts in economics from Columbia College at Columbia University in New York City in 1967 and a Master of Business Administration in finance from Columbia Business School at Columbia University in New York City in 1969.
