Concurrently, between 1998 and 2003, Mr. Jackson was also a member of the global equity management committee, contributing to high-level decision-making and policy development for the firm’s equity operations.

Among other notable roles, Mr. Jackson served as global head of equities research at Credit Suisse First Boston between 1994 and 2003, during a time of extensive growth. He also excelled as the European head of equities and global equity sales from 1993 to 1994, was the director of U.S. equity research at Credit Suisse First Boston between 1993 and 1994, and the director of equity research at First Boston between 1985 and 1990. Under Mr. Jackson’s leadership during this period, the research department consistently ranked among the top three in the Institutional All-America Research poll and achieved first or second place in the Greenwich Associates poll. He attributes these accomplishments to the strength and quality of his team.

Mr. Jackson’s professional journey began with an early interest in stocks during graduate school, which led him to pursue a position at Merrill Lynch, Pierce, Fenner & Smith, now part of Bank of America Merrill Lynch, where he developed foundational skills that shaped his future success.

Mr. Jackson’s academic background includes a Bachelor of Arts in economics from Columbia College at Columbia University in New York City in 1967 and a Master of Business Administration in finance from Columbia Business School at Columbia University in New York City in 1969. He was named to the Dean’s List for several years during college, reflecting his dedication to academic excellence. Mr. Jackson is also a chartered financial analyst, a credential that underscores his commitment to professional standards and technical proficiency.

A contributor to civic life, Mr. Jackson has served as a volunteer mentor with Read for America, demonstrating his commitment to supporting education and community development beyond his professional responsibilities.
