Between 2020 and 2024, he held the position of safety manager at Bridgeman Civil, following an initial appointment as occupational health and safety manager in 2020. In these roles, he was responsible for developing comprehensive health and safety programs tailored to the unique needs of each project.
In 2018, Mr. Barlow was active as both project safety manager and later as safety director at Tidewater Utility Construction, Inc., where he played a pivotal role in enhancing operational safety measures across multiple job sites. He previously worked as construction manager at HMG from 2017 to 2018 and general superintendent at Pro-Pave Incorporated from 2015 to 2018. During these years, Mr. Barlow managed large-scale construction projects and supervised teams to ensure timely completion while prioritizing worker well-being.
From 2012 to 2015, Mr. Barlow held dual roles as vice president of operations and project manager at CELTEK, Inc., overseeing daily operations and managing complex projects with a focus on efficiency and quality control. Between 2011 and 2013, he was recruited as a construction manager at ADDVIA LLC, where he coordinated multifaceted construction activities and maintained rigorous safety standards. Mr. Barlow was formerly appointed as president of Buck Construction for three years, demonstrating strong leadership in business development and project execution. He also managed OSP Consultants, further broadening his experience in the industry.

Additionally, he holds credentials as a HAZWOPER 40 trainer, OSHA 30 trainer, trench competent person trainer, compliance-based trainer, elevated work platform trainer, safe driving trainer, intermediate traffic control trainer, basic traffic control trainer and flagger trainer.
Mr. Barlow attributes his sustained success to relentless drive and focus — qualities that have enabled him to see every project through to completion with meticulous attention to detail. Many of his certifications require renewal every five years — a responsibility he embraces as essential for maintaining industry-leading standards. Throughout his career, Mr. Barlow has been recognized for excellence with honors such as the State Contractor Award — a reflection of his outstanding contributions to the field.
Beyond his professional endeavors, Mr. Barlow values time spent traveling with his children, Makayla, Brandon, Keirtyn, Derek and Dylan. He enjoys supporting their athletic ambitions by attending tournaments and celebrating their victories together while exploring new destinations such as Myrtle Beach.
