In addition to her leadership at Redfish Accounting and Tax, Ms. Babbitt has been active as the founder of Equitable Forensics since 2023. Through this venture, she advances her work in forensic valuation and litigation support, offering specialized expertise to clients navigating complex financial disputes. Ms. Babbitt’s dual roles reflect her dedication to both the technical and investigative aspects of accounting.

Prior to these positions, Ms. Babbitt worked as a certified public accountant at Redfish Capital from 2022 to 2023, where she provided comprehensive accounting services and contributed to the firm’s growth. She was also appointed as an accounting manager at Redfish Capital in 2022, managing financial operations and supporting organizational objectives.

From 2018 to 2021, Ms. Babbitt served as intermediate accountant for Klein Independent School District, where she managed financial records and reporting for the district’s educational programs. In 2018, she held the position of accountant at Prime Operating Company in Houston, contributing to the company’s financial management and compliance efforts.

Ms. Babbitt previously excelled as an accountant at RESA Power LLC in Houston from 2016 to 2017, where she handled corporate accounting functions for a leading provider of electrical solutions. From 2015 to 2016, she was recruited as an accountant at a private nonprofit organization, supporting financial operations for community-focused initiatives. Ms. Babbitt began her career as an accountant with Jeff Garcia Certified Public Accountant in Houston from 2006 to 2009. In this foundational role, she developed core competencies in tax preparation, auditing and client relations that would inform her future achievements.

Throughout her career, Ms. Babbitt has been recognized for her expertise and leadership within the profession. She is affiliated with several industry organizations including as a member of the Forensic Valuation and Litigation Support group at Equitable Forensics since 2023, International Society of Female Professionals since 2022, American Institute of Certified Public Accountants since 2019, Professional Accounting Society since 2010, and Forensic & Valuation Services. Moreover, Ms. Babbitt was appointed as a committee member for education and advocacy with the Texas Chapter of Certified Public Accountants through Redfish Accounting and Tax since 2022.

Ms. Babbitt initially pursued an education at the University of Houston-Downtown, from which she earned a Bachelor of Business Administration in accounting in 2011. This academic foundation provided her with advanced knowledge in accounting principles and practices that have been instrumental throughout her career. She likewise obtained her certification as a public accountant through the Texas State Board of Public Accountancy — a credential that underscores her commitment to professional standards and ethical conduct.

Ms. Babbitt attributes her success to the guidance of exceptional mentors who instilled in her the importance of humility, adherence to standards and unwavering ethics even under public scrutiny. Beyond her primary endeavors, Ms. Babbitt is dedicated to civic engagement as head coach, manager and team mom for youth baseball with Spring Klein Sports Association since 2014 — demonstrating her commitment to community development and youth mentorship.
